  1. Best authentic tacos in the area with meat options such as pork stomach, ears and etc.. the service is super friendly with delicious food. I always get the 4 tacos for 8 dollars. In my opinion they are much better than the taqueria in LES and jersey city. Best in nyc and nj combined for me so far.

  2. What a wonderful Mexican restaurant!

The guacamoley is so delicious! It's the kind that has red onions, cilantro, and at times sweet tomatoes, but I wish they could provide more (then again it might be me just being over greedy!) The horchata is decent but after hunting it down aimlessly in Bergenline I am blessed that they even have it. I would of reviewed the tacos or burrito but there is no vegetarian option but then again it's Bergenline so I'm grateful for whatever food I could get.

  3. I was craving some tacos so I used yelp to find the nearest Mexican place. This place looks like a Mexican diner! Very authentic food. Very good good. I ordered the tinga taquitos and my husband ordered the chicken quesadillas. Very fresh ingredients and the waitress took the time to explain some of the menu items to me. The chips and salsas served in the beginning are great. If you want authentic cheap Mexican food, come here!!!

  4. Good tacos with the meat grilled right in front of you.  Very inexpensive.  I probably wouldn't get the tamale again.  Definitely a locals place and not that clean so not sure if I would head back, especially after reading the other reviews.

  5. Wow. What a gem of a restaurant. Thank you Yelpers forte viewing and sending me here.

We had lunch for 4 hungry people. Their tacos and burritos are 4 for $8 and you can mix and match any meats. We ordered 2 beef tongue tacos and two pastor tacos. For burritos we ordered two pastor and two steak. On weekends they offer 3 different types of tamales and we ordered the chicken and the pork. We also ordered a side of guacamole. And two bottles of mexican soda. Bill came out to $26! What?!

Every single item was fresh and perfectly seasoned. This is better than the food I had when I was in Mexico! Very authentic food. The spices were just right. I highly recommend the beef to ue and the pastor. I can't wait to go back and try out all of their other items.

People on the next table ordered some huge bowls of chicken and pasta soup. That looked so good and homemade. We will try that next time.

If you're in the mood for some authentic Mexican food that won't break the bank, I highly recommend this place.

UPDATE: I went back to try other items on the menu this weekend and the service was way off. We were the only ones in there at 11am. There was 1 waitress who seemed to be inexperienced. When the orders came out, every single order was wrong. We ordered 8 burritos. They made 8 tacos. I decided to be nice and take 4 tacos and asked her to take the other plate back and make me the burritos that I ordered. She packed up the tacos thinking I was going to take them to go. Why? Why would I take them to go when I didn't order them?? I told her that I did not want those tacos. That I wanted burritos. She admitted that it was her mistake and that she remembered that I ordered burritos. I ordered two steak and two beef tongue burritos. After a long wait, they made me 4 beef burritos. Aye dios mio! We decided to just keep the steak burritos even though my main reason for going was the beef tongue. The guacamole that I loved so much during the first visit was also off. It tasted bland. There was no salt or garlic. We had to add our own salt. This is the problem when you go to a place that has just opened in the morning. They are busy setting up for the day and not prepared to take the time to make the orders correctly. They open at 10:30 and we were there around 11. That should have been more than enough time for them to get their act together. I will never go back before 12 noon again.

I also wanted to try their horchata. The waitress said that wasn't available. I wasn't surprised. It takes time to make such a drink. She didn't want to be bothered with it.

We also tried 3 quesadillas. We ordered two spicy chicken and 1 pork skin. They gave us 2 pork skin and 1 spicy chicken. Ugh. The pork skin was very bland. Was very disappointed that they made yet another order wrong and even more disappointed that the pork skin had no flavor. The spicy chicken was really good and we would order that in the future.

Service is a huge deal for me. This waitress made every single order wrong for us. Her head was not present. She seemed scattered. She was not the same waitress who helped us the first time we were there. We still like the food…mistakes and all. But I have never been to a place where they messed up every single order.
