  1. This review is for delivery only as we've never been to the restaurant.

We've had delivery from Flaming Burritos twice now and both times have been pretty good.  The wait has only been about 30-40 minutes for delivery and their website offers online ordering which is convenient.

Tonight, I ordered the Sunrise Vegetarian Burrito and my fiance ordered the Grilled Chicken Wrap.  His came with rice and beans on the side.  The wrap looked a bit small but my burrito was so large, my fiance was able to help me finish mine.  We often swap bites and I have to say both the burrito and the wrap were average.  Online, there is no description of what each burrito has inside (other than the description on top that each burrito comes stuffed with rice and beans).  I guessed based on the name that the Sunrise Vegetarian Burrito included an egg (good guess cause it did indeed have egg inside) and vegetables.  The burrito was tasty but had zero vegetables inside.  It was simply fried egg, rice, cheese and beans.  It was good but I was a little disappointed that there weren't any veggies.  Adding their homemade salsa and a little bit of frank's red sauce to the burrito did improve the taste.  The burrito wasn't wrapped tightly and neatly and started to come apart, so I had to grab a piece of foil to avoid making a huge mess of the burrito.

The prices are reasonable and the amount of food you get for what you pay is definitely nice.  I should point out that the website allows you to make specifications to your order (i.e. I was offered the option of brown rice over mexican rice, etc).  and the burrito was made exactly as I ordered it.

We would order from here again for delivery.

  2. Really great find for casual Mexican food in Union City. They even have vegan options! Tofu! Vegan sour cream! Can you tell I was excited?

Me, my boyfriend, and my dog Charlotte sat outside and perused the menu. When the waitress took our orders, she didn't write anything down. I'm always skeptical when a server doesn't write anything down – 9 times out of 10 he or she forgets something. But this waitress was good!

My boyfriend got a burrito stuffed with chicken and tofu. I got a naked burrito with tofu (no tortilla). The burrito that came out of the kitchen for my boyfriend was the MOST GINORMOUS burrito I've ever seen in my life. Seriously. He never takes home leftovers, but he could only finish half of it.

My food was a huge platter of rice, beans, and well-seasoned tofu. Everything was very delicious. I would've preferred some other veggies or something green on my plate (I probs should've ordered some guac to balance it out), but what I go was tasty for what it was, and it was a huge portion.

I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area!

  3. Good takeout option, and not bad eating there either.  Like other reviewers, love their vegetarian options.  kind of Tex Mex style, and very fresh.  I always get the Good burrito.  The only thing I don't like here is their nachos, not much better than a glob of cheese on chips and  it's always a soggy mess if you are getting it delivered.

  4. Came here for Cinco De Mayo today and it was pretty good!

The food is more of your typical cali-mex or tex mex, which I love.

I had the steak salad which ended up being like a nacho salad, but the flank steak was cooked nicely.  The salad had a good bit of guac, cheese, tomatoes and other goodies on it.  Portions were huge as well.

They also had frozen margaritas for $3, so that was a nice treat.  There's outdoor seating, so on a hot day, grab a couple of ritas, kick back and munch on some chips n salsa.

  5. Ordered take-out for the office from the Flaming Burrito twice.

The service has always been great, over the phone they have been very helpful and the delivery persons are very nice.

The food is very good. I've ordered the guacamole… delicious! I've also had the lunch burrito's. I have only ordered the spinach burrito with pinto beans (definitely recommend pinto over black bean) and it is SOOOO good. The "mini burrito" comes with a salad instead of chips and that was really good as well.

Overall, I recommend the Flaming Burrito for some fast-food Mexican style.

  6. Strawberry margaritas for only $3?!  Love it!!

Came here on Cinco de Mayo with our pup, and ate a TON.  We had their chips and guacamole, my boo had the steak salad and I had a steak burrito.  I only ate 3/4 of it and was stuffed for the rest of the day 'n night…whew!

It was great to lounge around outside while enjoying our meal!  Servers were all super friendly, too.  Finally-some legit Mexican food!

  7. I thoroughly enjoyed my order from Flaming Burrito. I was visiting my family and they live right across Charritos– sooo naturally I compared the two SOLELY on food, not aesthetics (since there is an obvious difference in that area). Let's just saw Charritos overpriced food cannot be compared with FB's soliiiiddd, tasty and healthy mexican food.

We ordered the chipotle shrimp burrito with brown rice and a wheat tortilla. It was delicious! Flavorful, full of garlic and left me feeling full.

We also ordered a lunch special burrito stuffed with sauteed spinach and black beans– and that burrito was also pretty good- I just needed a LITTLE bit more flavor- but I guess I could have just added the salsa they gave on the side.

I paid $17 for two large burritos- it's not the cheapest (which is why I gave a 5 instead of 4) BUT it is very fresh, tasty and was worth the price. Keep in mind that the shrimp burrito was packed with shrimp (not a seafood-y flavor just bite-sized and delicious).

Looking forward to continuing to order delivery from here!

  8. This is a cute little spot that offers great vegan/vegetarian options at a good deal too :).  My go to place for mexican food in the area.
