I think this place is called Los Taquitos del Tio now (see photo). So that's what I'll call it.
Randomly stumbled upon this place while strolling down Junction Boulevard and decided to give it a go. Los Taquitos could be described as a hole in the wall, definitely no frills about the place. A TV was showing telenovelas, and there was some eye-catching art of a hunky folk-hero type guy saving a maiden in distress. There is table service, not sure about the waitress's English abilities.
We shared a variety of four tacos for around $10. Not bad at all. The tacos perhaps were not the best in the world, but they were pretty good. Check it out if you're in the neighborhood.
