  1. Great place to go with a group or date night! Highly recommend their seafood dishes, have yet to be disappointed. All meals come with a salad or soup and good size portions so you can skip on appetizers to save a couple bucks!  Prices are reasonable for what you get though. Can't wait to come back again!

  2. This is a real great restaurant that stays true to their cuisine and still throws some twists at you. The seafood paella was outrageous, the crab, scallops, lobster, etc was all perfectly cooked. The chicken was unnecessary for me in the dish and was a little dry, personally I would have gotten the paella without it. The thick cut steakhouse style bacon was huge but a little salty, but great quality bacon. The steak empanadas were unbelievable, and the sauce that it comes with adds great balance. The prices are more than fare for this upper class cuisine, lunch prices are ridiculously awesome.

  3. This is a good restaurant, and we will be coming back. The restaurant was pretty packed but we didn't have to wait for a table. Maybe on an evening, it will be different.

Ordered the Surf n' Turf, it was huge. The meat was tender with perfect doneness. We also ordered a garlic shrimp tapas. The shrimp was good sized, and the sauteed minced garlic was fragrant enough without any bitter taste.

Overall the restaurant doesn't 't oversalt/overseason the food, which is what I like about this place. The portions are huge. From the warm & toasty complimentary bread or the salad. Anything, we ordered here was delicious and cooked to perfection. The service is impeccable. The staff is on point. Enjoy it!!!

  4. My wife and I are going to miss this place. SKIRT STEAK..A MUST GET!!!!!!!!!! Cant say enough about the food and the service. We just moved to SC but when we are back in Jersey and craving some seafood/steak….THIS IS THE SPOT!

  5. Solid 4 stars…. This place is pretty much similar to most Portugese/Spanish spots with waiter service. The dining room is nice. The waitstaff and hostess were very friendly. The food was not rushed and came out with good timing. The garlic  shrimp was very good and better than most places. I also tried scallops as well as porterhouse steak. Both were fantastic. Dinner came with soup or salad, I opted for the salad. It was overdressed but still good. The sangria was my only disapointment, although it was good it needed more brandy to make it stronger, that may have been a good thing. The potatoes that came with the meal were awesome, like potato chips, thinner than most places. This is a definate go to place for steak or Portugese  food. Highly recommend!

  6. Its legit just like the original!
I was skeptical coming to this location because im a die hard Moonachie location gal. Unfortunately the Moonachie location doesn't offer the customer appreciation deal on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Yes, every Monday and Tuesday you can order a 7 oz sirloin with a lobster tail OR 2 twin lobsters for 19.95. Great deal!
The food is cooked the same to me as the original location. I couldn't tell a difference. Event the delicious sangria was tops. I do like the decor in this restaurant better. Service is amazing. You will leave full and with a dogie bag.

  7. Huge portions, amazing prices relative to NYC Steakhouses, and attentive waiters.

Sad times: The bisque soup was pureed and a little thin, no chunks of seafood. Potato chips that were served with the dishes went untouched, they were a bit bland. Salad was just okay.

Happy times: Fresh oysters, warm bread, strong martinis, amazing portions, good server, tons of calamari.  Large bar to sit at and have a drink during a wait for a table. No rush during dinner.

Tip: Call ahead to put your name on the list, as we did and we were seated promptly.

  8. The Story:  Came here for my anniversary dinner.

    Food:
I feel the food wasn't spectacular yet it wasn't sub par either. The portions were definitely HUGE!!! Great bang for your buck.

I didn't like their tuna tar tartare dish 🙁 I didn't feel the flavor combination was all that great.

Price: decently priced for what you get. I would say about $45 per person if you only ordered entree and apps.

Service: Service was average. I feel like they were short staff because our waiter was also our hostess.

Parking & Finding the Place: located near the 7/11 in little ferry. Has their own parking lot.

Additional Thoughts/Tips: Will definately try again.
