I cannot comment on the actual food, as we never received it. We placed an order at 7:30PM, an hour and a half before closing. At 8:30PM, we called to ask and the woman who took our order said the deliveryman left and should be there soon. At 9PM, when the restaurant was closing, I called again and asked about the delivery. The same woman said the guy had gone out 20 minutes ago and again should be there soon. At this point, its getting to be a little dubious considering that our food order would have been in the back of some guy's car for 20 minutes. At 9:15, I call again and the call rings out. Presumably because the restaurant has now been closed for fifteen minutes.
As I type this, it has been over two hours since the original order was placed. The restaurant is now closed. The whereabouts, and yes, even the existence of my food are unknown.
–Quick update– At 9:41PM, I received a call from the manager/owner. He claimed the deliveryman had attempted delivery twice and had called my number to no avail. Putting aside the fact that no one ever rung the door bell, he recited back a 914 number, when mine is a 347. At no point when I called three times did their employee say there was an issue with the number/delivery. He told me he had the food with him right now and paused, as if waiting for me say that I would take it. I did not. If that is the type of employees they retain and the manager waits over 2 hours to take charge, there is no point in giving this place your business.–
Found this place on grubhub I was really hungry and not in the mood for the usual Italian or Japanese food and I was so happy to find a bbq joint. I ordered the burnt ends and a roast chicken. I really must say the food tasted good and I hope that people order from them in the area. The burnt end were cooked perfectly and were very good they put a little bit too much sauce for me though because I prefer tasting the meat rather than the sauce. The roast chicken was cooked very well the one thing that I didn't like was the collard greens were on the bottom of the chicken not on the side it came with corn and coleslaw and I liked the coleslaw it didn't have a heavy mayonnaise base to it but I think vinegar. It also came with a side salad which was not really good.
