  1. Great Jazz spot in Linden!  The owner, who happens to be the chef is very friendly.  The atmosphere is very comfortable, it feels very intimate.  I came here for a Sunday brunch with girlfriends and we had an amazing time.  The mango sangria ($5 or $6) was probably the best sangria I've had in my life.  It was delicious, and made just how I like it.  There was also a nice selection of different types of food at the buffet.  There were pasta rice, seafood, beef, breakfast, and southern dishes to try.  I enjoyed most of the food.  Before we ate at the buffet, we also were served pineapple cornbread, which was pretty good and a crab salad.  I really enjoyed the crab salad.  It was delicious and something different.  I believe they normally have a gospel brunch on Sundays.  On the particular Sunday I went, the featured band was playing a nice mix of neo soul and r&b, but I think that's because it was on Valentine's Day.

The only issue I have is with the service.  Although our waiter was very nice, she wasn't super knowledgeable about the menu.  When we asked her if there were any happy hour specials on drinks, she kept saying she didn't know.  I think if she worked on getting knowledge of the specials, she would be an amazing waitress.  She was awesome other than that.

  2. Good luck. They're never open. I've tried to eat here twice this week (and many more occasions since moving to town a year and a half ago) and the curtains have been drawn with the lights off, despite the fact that it was well before the closing time posted on their front door. I'm perplexed how this place is still in business. They have a banner on the side of their building that they have live jazz nights starting in 2014- which last time I checked was last year.  I invite the restaurant to stay open the hours that are posted out front so I can try them out. I would love to meet someone who's actually been there when they're open because I'm dying to know what the food is like and if it's any good- considering I live a 3 minute walk away from this place and need another staple restaurant for when I get off the train and am too lazy to cook.
