Had the most amazing experience here last Saturday. Food, service, drinks = excellent. Great ambiance overall. 2 negatives: tables are super close to each other and we had 2 very loud and annoying women next to us. Second, there was only 1 bathroom, which is odd for the restaurant's size.

French Onion Soup Dumplings
A fusion of soup dumplings and French onion, this signature dish is heaven in your mouth. Dumplings are topped with generous amount of cheese. Use the toothpick to pick them up and dunk in your mouth.
Potato & Goat Cheese Pierogies
Crispy, pan-fried pierogies stuffed with potato and goat cheese and topped with caramelized onions. Dip them in truffle creme fraiche served on the side for additional flavor.
Beef & Broccoli
This dish has a wide range of textures and flavor profiles, from the crispy sticky rice cake to the creamy broccoli puree to the savory braised short rib.
Maine Lobster & Squid Ink Tagliatelle Pasta
Generous amount of Maine lobster, coupled with juicy cherry tomatoes and wild mushrooms in creamy lobster Riesling broth. The squid ink tagliatelle pasta is cooked perfectly al dante.
Warm Doughnuts
Straight-out-of-the-fryer, warm fluffy doughnuts with powdered cinnamon sugar. Have your pick at three dipping sauces, ranging from caramel to chocolate and berry.
I thought the Stanton Social was one of these restaurants that was well past its prime. Wrong. This was a great call for a team dinner. Food rundown:
– Arepas: I don't like Arepas. These need a different name. Freakishly good unique arepas
– Pierogies: I'm not a big fan of Pierogies. These were great
– Put these on your short list: Lamb Gyros, Red Snapper Tacos, Crispy Brussels Sprouts
– Pass on the following: Meatballs (slightly above average), Sour Dumplings (meh), Mac & Cheese, Hanger Steak
– Dessert – worth saving room for dessert
Came here for brunch last week with Wyman. We ordered the polenta and the chicken and waffles. Both were so good!!! Even the brunch is served like tapas, so I would recommend ordering more dishes. I was content after sharing two, but could definitely go for more food.
Out of the two dishes we had, my favorite was the chicken and waffles. They served it with this magical sauce – the perfect combination of savory and sweet.
After reading the other reviews, I'm questioning whether or not I should come back for dinner. If you haven't been here before, I'd definitely recommend trying the brunch first!
Had an excellent meal here with a few friends! Everything was perfectly shareable between three people (there was often three of the thing on the plate), so if you have more than that I'd get two of some things. Here's what we had:
+ French onion soup dumplings (duh)
+ Cobb salad bites
+ Crispy fish tacos
+ House cut fries
+ Baby back ribs with mango slaw
+ Wild mushroom ravioli
+ Doughnuts
The dumplings are a must. Cobb bites were good but not too exciting. Tacos were excellent but left me wanting – super small bites. The fries were great, the texture was tougher than usual which I know isn't a great way to explain it, but it was like they were fried more – anyway, it worked. Ribs and ravioli were amazing and the doughnuts were out of this world.
My friend and I came here on a Thursday night. A very popular place it seems. There is a doorman checking IDs for anyone wishing to enter the upstairs bar/semi lounge area.
The ambiance is low lighting, but still with an open friendly atmosphere. The whole back wall is a huge wine rack, which I thought was a nice, unique touch.
The waitress was kind enough to explain how the menu works, mainly appetizers to share, though it is rather small appetizers, so I would suggest at least 2, probably 3 per a group of 2.
We ordered the French Onion Soup Dumplings that everyone seemed so keen about. Neither my friend, nor I was much impressed with them. The way they were displayed in the bowl was cute and different, but the taste just wasn't there. It had the remnants of a french onion soup taste, but with a lack of luster.
The potato & goat cheese pierogies were of another world! So much flavor, and the truffle creme served on the side as the "dipping sauce" was divine! They could probably open a little shop right next to it and make a killing off the sales. DELICIOUS! We were tempted to just scoop it up and eat it (seriously that good).
Red snapper tacos were okay. They were 3 mini tacos, about 2 bites with a piece of lightly fried fish inside. I don't think they were worth the $14 price tag.
Side note: be forewarned, the sliders are tricky the way they are worded – it is only ONE slider that comes per order. So if you order a "kobe beef burger slider" – it is just one slider.
Lovely place for a not too crowded brunch. And they take reservation!
It was even better when I heard that they share the same owner of Beauty&Essex cuz I also happen to love that restaurant as well.
It is tapas but they are def more filling than the traditional ones. We had the Oreo pancakes (which was absolutely amazing), chicken & waffle (mind you that the chicken is grilled not fried), and the huevos rancheros which is more like cheesy tacos.
Servers are attentive which is another plus. Will come back for happy hours or dinner!
So happy to finally have visited this place. The standouts are beef wellington, ravioli, wasabi pea salmon, octopus salad (though tad too salty). Our waiter did a great job of recommending plates and portions for us. I love sharing plates- it was 5 of us and we ordered 10 different tapas. So we probably tried almost half the menu. Highly recommend!
