  1. More like a 3.5 but thats more because of the clientele that frequents this place.

Right off the 1 train for those of us that use public transportation. Whats not to love about this place? First hookah is free. Great drink specials. Their food is actually good! They have food specials before 8pm as well.
    I tried their:
    1) Picada- fried cheese, tostones, and beef was great but the pork was too fatty.
    2) Stuffed tostones with chicken- brings 3,  decent portion size, and the sauce they use with the chicken is tasty.
    3) Fries- they were fries. Good.
    4) Beans and rice- soo good!

There is ample space and seating if you come early enough. Their music is usually really good (bachata, baladas, reggaeton, etc) and if you request a certain genre they usually try to get it to play for you. From what my friends tell me the waitresses are all very cute and fit. Do what you will with that info.  Service is attentive.

    Downsides for me were:
    – When its a busy day for them they card and check your bags/purses at the door (ratchet alert! I knew what I was getting myself into. Also, for the record Im not opposed to ratchet, we all need a little bit of ratcheteria in our lives but I was thinking I was just going to happy hour!)
    – My friend's phone was "lost" on a friday night. The staff did make sure to ask if anyone had found a phone but we all knew we wouldn't find it. Make sure if youre having a good time you keep that phone in your pocket!

Overall, this is the place to be able to chill or turn up during happy hour without completely breaking the bank. Make sure to hold on to your valuables though if you dont want the night to turn sour.

  2. not a fan of cover but that day they had a live performance. Parking sucks just like any other place in the city but it was a fun night. Hookah and drink specials at night. It turns to be good around 12 midnight. great dancing and environment.

  3. Weekday happy hour is definitely worth it! HOWEVER, do not expect speedy or accurate service. Yea, well maybe its only worth it if you have the time and patience lol.

The waitresses took our orders on a small napkin and we had to remind them of certain parts of our order many times.  Though not efficient, they were all pretty nice. We had several people coming to our table throughout our time there.

Happy hour goes until 8PM, they have a bunch of different drink specials. You can also get a $10 bucket of beer- win!  Hookah is also available.  If you don't want to be around the smoke, this place is not for you.  This place is pretty big as well. It is good for large groups!

The food is also pretty decent. Taco Tuesdays (chicken, shrimp or beef). Everyone in my party liked their tacos. The guac was a little too salty.  I wouldn't say its a place for a nice dining experience but its one of those places that the food works if you want to have a good happy hour experience.

I did have a friend who had his new iphone stolen the first time  I went. It can get pretty packed, a little rowdy as well lol. So be careful where you place your valuables.

The music is also good. Mostly bachata + other stuff you can dance too.

    I'll probably be back!
