  1. Just got home after having mighty Quinn's and, wait…what…I CANNOT stop thinking about the brisket!!!! And so immediately had to write a review to let the world know that this is a must try! lol. I am not a fan of extremely sweet BBQ food as it may be what is actually appreciated more by most, so for me this was perfect!
Brisket just melted in my mouth and WHOA it was full of flavor! Loved the dirty fries and the beans as well. Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, which was good but not cooked through, delicious nonetheless. Chicken wings were merely OK. Nothing noteworthy about it to mention.
Ambiance was relaxed, the regular style of most BBQ joints, line up to order and sit down with the food. But those briskets were just so mouthwatering! I have already decided to go there as soon as I'm in the area next!

  2. REALLY good! The service was excellent, one of the girls working there knew I was having a difficulty understanding everything that came with the meal- she went through all options and gave me great advice. Food was not badly priced and perfect for one. Will go back!

  3. Dinner at Mighty Quinn's was A-OK.  I wouldn't go quite so far as to say I'm a fan because if I wanted bbq, I wouldn't go back to Mighty Quinn's, I'd go to Dinosaur.

I thought the Brontosaurus rib was very good.  It did taste a bit like pot roast rather than a beef rib, but it was fine.  The sweet potato casserole was awesome — a dessert masquerading as a vegetable.  I didn't love the burnt end baked beans.  I've had better baked beans.

  4. I really wanted to like this place but I couldn't. This was on my to-eat list for my second trip out to New York City. I risked my life and walked almost 2 miles in pouring raining to reach Might Quinn's Barbeque. I decided to order the single rack of ribs and discovered that the server had given me half rack. I didn't find this out until the check out. It made me feel bad because the person checking me out at the register thought i was lying. I had asked for a single rack and was given a half rack. I decided to get the half rack anyways which was an extra $5+.

I noticed that my half rack of ribs were cold. It was cold like it's been sitting out for a while. My partner also noticed that something wasn't right. The ribs were average. I've had better ribs before. The pickled sides were the highlights of the meal and it was also average.

If management is reading this, I highly recommend a few lessons on customer service. I noticed that there were many workers off-tasking. If they can focus on their job, I'm sure that the experience would've been different.

  5. An Awesome BBQ joint nestled in the East Village. If you happen to be looking for a BBQ spot in the east village come here if you want to taste real BBQ and not what they serve at dalla BBQ. When you walk into Mighty Quinns you get smacked with the smell of smoke and BBQ in the best way. You can see the cooks tending to the meats and chopping them to order. They've got brisket, pulled pork, ribs, sausage, wings, and some awesome sides.

We came here on a saturday afternoon and the place wasn't too busy. The resturant looks like a huge cafeteria with communal benches and tables. There are tall seat along the windows and you can even sit outside. You walk in and you follow the line to where you order what you like and they cut the meats you want and serve it to yah on a nice silver tray. We ordered the Brontosaurus rib, a quarter pound of brisket, burnt end beans, and broccoli salad. Fair warning order with your stomach and not your eyes. It was definitely a lot of food and it'll stretch your pants but its WORTH IT.

The Brontosaurus was super tender and fall off the bone despite its size and it was coated with a dry rub that was great. Although some parts were kinda salty. But super juicy and tender. Its more than enough for 2 people.

The brisket was tender and moist. great on its own with a bit of salt and even better when you drown it in their homemade BBQ sauce.

The burnt end beans was my favorite thing. The flavor a smokey BBQ sauce with beans that have been cooked down so long they just melt in your mouth. But not only that you also get huge chunks of burnt ends (the burnt buts of brisket which are the best) that just makes the whole experience.

The broccoli salad/slaw was also great. Crunchy broccoli and sweet cranberries. A great foil to the smokey BBQ.

Mighty Quinn's is a great gem in east village and they are dishing out some great authentic BBQ. A must try if you are in the area.

  6. This pace is pretty good — quality-wise — and I was very tempted to give it four stars. But after a second visit eating the ribs, I felt a bit ripped off. I'm a value-oriented guy, and $14 for four (albeit meaty) ribs — plus a tiny serving of slaw and a portion of tasty corn fritters — is a tad steep. The ribs are served essentially at room temperature; their surface is crusty and the meat comes off the bone easily. But why so much money?

  7. As a long-time Northerner, this is easily the best selection of BBQ I have had. I visited here several times because they have open outdoor seating and long, cafeteria-style tables, perfect for chilling with group of friends and enjoying the amazing weather. But food is where Mighty Quinn excels and the application of barbecue flavors is practiced to perfection here. The dry ribs were fantastically delicious, all the way down to the very ends of the bone. For the appetizers, the baked beans together cooked with burnt end is usually a nice choice for us; I never enjoyed chowing down beans so much until I came here. What really surprised me was how savory the briskets were; I can never forget just how moist, tender, and practically melt-in-the-mouth the briskets tasted. For anyone coming here, I do recommend having all of the above, but if you can, make sure really to try everything!

  8. We had the brisket, the spareribs, and bread pudding

The brisket serving is on the small side, although they claim its a third of a pound. Other BBQ places let you order by weight without a minimum. I wonder if you're allowed to order fatty instead of lean because without specifying, I got mostly lean and tbh, the fatty was much better and the lean not really worth eating. The smoke flavor was decent.

The ribs were also tender and well flavored, the BBQ sauce is kinda one dimensional.

The bread pudding is tender and moist. It's got blueberries and not very sweet. To be honest, it doesn't taste of much besides oil. I hear the bites with the sauce on top are much better
