  1. Good:
The food at Outback is great. I am a meat lover so for me it doesn't get better than that.
    Drinks are also great
Prices are very decent considering what you get

    Bad:
This particular location is by far the worst Outback I've ever been to.
First, if you've never been there before you might have hard time finding it because it is inside a building and not a separate Outback building. The sign could also have been positioned better. When I looked for this place I literally passed by it twice before I noticed it.
Second, the service. Horrible, Outback. Absolutely horrible. I know you can do so much better.  They always act like they are doing you a favor allowing you to dine in their establishment. The service is so so so slow. Last time we went there it was a good 40 minute wait between placing an order and getting food.

Conclusion: As much as I love Outback, this place is by far their worst location in regards to service.

  2. Again I'm happy that this place exists and the promotions are some of the beat deals you will find in American Cuisine. The only problem is that some of the individuals who are hired, reveal their true colors which would really Break Business.

Last time it was Terrance, now it is DeeDee. When I made a reservation for 7 at 7:30p, one of our parties members were not there, so we waited but scouted for a comfortable seat in the vicinity though most were taken. We finally told DeeDee that we wanted 2 tables (good for 8 people) and not a Cab Type Seating and she Reluctantly Promised to give me the 2 tables I requested when the other 2 customers leave after she repeatedly & unsuccessfully tried persuading us to take other rather uncomfortable for 7 people arrangements. Even forcibly say YOU HAVE TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY! As she can force who stays or leaves.

We then wait for my other friend to come and the 2 other people to finish their meal. I signal to Dee Dee I will be right back (to buy the Powerball at 800 Million ;-). On my return about 5 minutes later, the last person in my party arrived and for some reason I was following another hostess with my friends into a Cab table, against my wishes and the table I Requested was given to a different party. As we were sitting at the Cab Seat sandwiched together, it was revealed to me that DeeDee grudgingly told him that since I was not back yet, we cannot be seated at the Table I was promised.

As soon as I saw the waiter, I asked him to get The Manager for us and because the waiter didn't know what has happened and I probably looked , the waiter hesitated to get him. It was when I told him it has nothing to do with him and it was something else, he was a little more comfortable and agreed to get the manager and I explained exactly what happened while I was pointing the finger at DeeDee who is the most Irresponsible and "Doing Things Only For Her Own Convenience" type of person

Sure enough the Manager, David took care of everything as he always does and got us a nice table. DeeDee after seeing that the manager is now involved, reluctantly helped out but continued to begrugingly make eye contact with me though I did not give her the attention she was looking for.

Everything else was good after. The other thing about DeeDee I can say is the week before this took place, I got there with my friend 3 minutes after 10p and stared at us like a sociopath then I said "Closed?" and without saying anything she pointed at me like that was supposed to make any sense. Then she said "The door says the time we close." After both incidents, I'm in complete shock that this Despotic- Antisocial would be allowed to work in the real world.

  3. Where has this been hiding all my life….I usually do not prefer going to chains, but this place blew me away. I suggest bringing someone with you to share a meal because the portions were pretty big.

Service: amazing!! Rodney was an excellent waiter. On point, he catered to our every need and always checked up on us. We came in pretty early so no reservations were needed (5:30-6pm). As we left, there were a lot of people waiting (on a Wed night), so I suggest making a reservation or come early.

    1. Bloom onion:
    -Omg these are soo good!
    -Just right amount of batter
-The portion was huge! We couldn't finish.

    2. Sirloin and grilled shrimp:
-We decided to get the 12 oz steak to share and OMG was it a tummy full.
-The steak was perfectly marinated and the meat was very tender, a perfect medium rare. Just the right amount of salt, yum!
-The shrimp was good as well, but only 4 pieces.

    3. Sides:
    Sweet potato:
-This was steamed like a regular potato and a scoop of butter in the center. It was soft and sweet.
    Mixed veggies:
-Probably not the best dish to make you feel better about getting veggies because it had to be cooked in lots of butter and salt, but in no way am I complaining! It was soo good!!

    4. Bread:
-A brown roll with creamy butter. I didn't expect much, but it was so good. I love when places make the rolls warm and soft. I hate hard bread.

Overall: this place blew my mind and I would come again.

  4. Good place to eat prime ribs, huge steaks, or even burgers.
However the prices are outrageous. The food was good, and I particularly enjoyed my clam chowder soup that my friend highly recommended. But I had a Caesar salad and I didn't understand what made it so special, apart fro the price.
The employees, from the front desk to the waiter, were very nice and polite. We received our food without waiting much, except for the extra french fries order, that took a good 15 minutes.
My friend had the New York T bone steak, 22 ounces and I must say it looked really good.
The bread and butter they bring at the beginning of the meal is pretty exceptional, and I was so hungry, I had to make sure I wasn't stuffing my face with it.
No green tea available, like most restaurant in the States. Not sure why, as it is one of the most classic tea after black, so come on outback, get a box of green tea.
Though the place was packed and music was playing, if wasn't too loud as some restaurants can get.
We were the only people left in the place when we left, and yet, no one made us feel like we were unwanted, so thank you for that.
The bill was high, and knowing it is a chain restaurant, I expected a smaller bill.
Will I return? maybe if I have no other choices. Manhattan offers incredible steakhouses and for a similar price, so chances are, I won't return there.

  5. Typically I avoid chain restaurants because this is NYC. No reason to go chain when there's so many options to choose from. However, I was pleasantly surprised by my visit here yesterday. They have great drink deals and a really good menu. I wasn't super hungry so I went for the Coconut shrimp appetizer, which was quite filling (they give you 8). As for drinks, I got a Key Lime Pie Martini– so delicious and cheap ($4)!! I would return for that alone.

    I shall return

  6. My daughter had a gift card so I agreed to go help her use it. We used to go to the Outback in Queens and the one off 3rd avenue. They were pretty good back in the day.

The bread they give you with butter is the best part of the meal. The service was very good and receptionist overly friendly on our last visit.

My issue is with the quality. It's hit or miss. It was missed so many times I really don't care if I ever go back. They rotate the menu and the deep dish Apple desert was taken off the menu. I would go back for that!

In all fairness I'm not much of a meat eater. I used to like the salads. They became second rate and I got turned off. My daughters gift card is used. I paid her for my meal. She'll be hard pressed to get me back in there! Two stars for hostess and service.

  7. As a chain restaurant in the city, this place definitely holds up as one of the better ones.
Sometimes nothing can beat the blooming onion and some fish tacos.
Service is good and staff is friendly. Glad to know that outback is definitely a good back up.

  8. Im only giving this location a 3 star because the waiter was very attentive and friendly. The food here was also good but the food and waiting to be seated took way too long. I do not think i will be returning to this location.
