A coworker of mine raved about the "spanish" food at a restaurant nearby our office and invited me to lunch. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this Dominican restaurant.
There is a traditional buffet set up with a plethora of Dominican dished from fish, beef, pork to rotisserie chicken. You can have yellow or white rice, black beans (Negra) or red beans. Each plate comes with sweet plaintains (maduros) and choice of meat. All the food looks delicious and indeed was. The staff was friendly and spoke good English. My plate was piled high for $7.00 and worth every penny for each bite. The plaintains were HUGE and very sweet.
