  1. Very solid and reasonably priced Thai with cozy seating, friendly and attentive service, and easily accessible location from the 6 (51st St is only a few blocks away).  The pad see yew was very solid and flavorful with plenty of tofu and veggies at only $10!  The Garlic Tofu was okay but a bit salty although the minced sauteed garlic was a nice touch.  The Spicy Basil Beef was spicy but flavorful and went well with the side of sticky rice.  The rice paper-wrapped spring rolls with tofu and veggies were served with a thick and delish fish-sauced based dip.  Slightly sweet and very flavorful.  Overall a great hidden gem near Sutton Place.  Weekends can be crowded.  We got here at 6:30 and it was relatively quiet although full.  At 7, there was a long wait!

  2. Pretty good deal for lunch and my portion of pad thai was huge. They tend to get a lot of people dining so get here earlier than later since it's a tiny space. Since I have a gluten allergy my choices were very limited, basically pad thai or curry. Nothing outstanding about this place. It was good but not the best Thai food I've ever had.

  3. My coworkers always order from this Thai restaurant and rave about the food. I finally decided to give it a try. The lunch special is pretty cheap for the area – $9 for vegetable pad see ew and an appetizer (vegetable dumplings). The flavor was pretty good (I think PongSri is better), noodles were a bit too mushy and it was a little too greasy for my liking. I think it's a reasonable option in midtown, but I would recommend going to Queens for some good Thai food or PongSri if you're in Manahattan.

  4. Chicken Pad Thai – ordered through a food delivery app, seamless. Delivery was accurate to the estimate and the Pad Thai portion was good; not huge and not small. It was tasty, as pad thai always seems to be, but it wasn't anything spectacular. I'd order again.

  5. This place was great!  A tiny place with 11 tables for about 25 people, they are a great lunch bargain that scores with yummy and fresh food, great presentation, cute space, and very efficient service.  I will be frequenting this place often.

First the food:  The lunch deal includes an appetizer (about 8 choices), rice, and the entrée, all for under $12.  We ordered the Green Curry with shrimp ($10) and Pork Chop ($11), with spring rolls and Sukhumvit Dumplings.  All very good, but the pork chop really stood out with its spot-on seasoning and cooked just right.  These aren't your lunch combo size either, they are a full 1 serving size that's perfect for lunch.  It's really a great bargain at that price.  I also saw others that ordered juice drinks, and the coconut juice contained actual slices of coconut and lychee juice contained actual lychees.  Got to try that coconut juice next time!

Service:  Pleasant but not in a chummy way, and super efficient.  Water there in a minute, takes your order the next, apps arrive within 4-5 minutes, and entrée arrives just about when you're finishing up with the app.  And then they leave you to finish your meal, but soon after you're done they're clearing your table and check is in.

Dishes arrive nicely presented, especially considering that it's a Thai restaurant which isn't known for such things.  Space is cute but not fancy, and a bit tight overall.  I'm giving it 5-stars not because the food is at that level (but a solid 4), but because the entire package is very tightly executed.  Very impressive.

Table-for-1 Factor:  Aside from the fact that it's tiny and can get packed during peak hours, it's an excellent spot for eating alone.

  6. A real hole in the wall that is sorta away from the major foot traffic avenues of NYC. Arguably it appears to be one of the cheapest Thai places in the city, but at the same time not that special. This comes from one who lives in Queens in the heart of Thai joints everywhere.

Pad Thai – Good portion size for the price if anything, but that's about it. Flavor and taste weren't memorable

They serve Thai iced tea in an underfilled mini clay pot, but it seems like more of a gimmick. Side note, a friend got a lychee martini, which tasted like warm watery alcohol. It's nice to have a sit down place to catch up with people, but the space is tiny and we were asked to make room for an incoming party.

  7. REAL TIME LUNCH REVIEW!

Been wanting to try this place for forever!  But couldn't justify the pricing for what I wanted at lunch time, let alone to eat while working.  But multiple discount codes made for the proper hook up!

    Ordered (at 2:45pm):

    – Tom Kha w/seafood
    – NPYD Special (basically Pad Thai w/duck)
    – Thai Iced Tea

Said it should be ready come 3:15.

Walked over……it was ready, and handed to me by a lovely gentleman; so friendly and welcoming!

Super awesome Thai Iced Tea!  Not overly creamy.  Tons of that rich spice with a hint of the cream.  Divine!

Solid Tom Kha.  Wouldn't do the seafood upgrade for delivery or take out again, as the calamari/scallop/mussel (which was huge!) cooked too much while waiting for me to dig in.  Freshly consumed in-house?  I'd try again!

Excellent flavoring on the duck….solid pad thai….and a stellar combo of the flavor palates.  Very generous portion of duck, good portion of pad thai.  Only thing I'd change is not having the duck leg left on the bone.  They offer a mix of sliced and on-the-bone….I can see that making for an awesome presentation in-house….but a little awkward in the office.

I'm a fan, and want to now dine in!

  8. Nice Thai food place! Before coming here, I just knew some good Thai restaurants in Hell's Kitchen area. Glad I checked this place.

The menu items are just in the right amount – different kinds of drinks to choose from, various styles of food categorized by the contents. My friend and I ordered Thai Iced Tea (which comes in a clay jar), pepper duck, and jumbo shrimp in clay pot. They all taste good. I think That cuisine handles duck pretty well. and the jumbo shrimp is not that 'jumbo' but still taste nice. There are much more items on the menu look not bad and I might come back to try something else.
