Moe’s Southwest Grill

“If you're ever in the Edgewater neighborhood looking for a quick & quality stop on by & Welcome to Moe's.”

“The food is good, comparable to Qdoba or Chipotle, but I like Moe's better because they offer tofu as a protein option, and also give you free chips & salsa with your order.”

“On a different day, I actually dined inside the restaurant ordering the same thing, 2 overachiever tacos, and it tasted much much better.”

  1. I like Moe's, although it doesn't seem much different than Qdoba to me.
A few different options when you're stuffing your burrito would be green peppers and black olives.  Some of the burritos have names. They give you complimentary chips with your food and there is a salsa station with various sauces and fresh lemon/lime. Simply put, it's another decent fast food option.

  2. Ordered some take out form this joint. The guacamole was quite good and price was right. I'm keeping this review short and sweet.

  3. Another place I drive past daily but never went into.  Tried it today and really enjoyed my meal.  I got the Stack Wrap, which is a large flour tortilla filled with choice of meats, veggies, queso and a hard corn taco disc, then wrapped up, flattened and pressed.  So good!   I got chips with the meal and liked the salsa bar for choices.  Solid lunch choice.

  4. Welcome To Moe's!!!! My first time back to MOE'S in over 3 years but this visit made me recall what I was missing.

The ingredients are always fresh and I'm a fan of the Welcome To Moe's slogan. I typically go for the Joey Bag of Donuts but my bf loves the small tacos both hard/soft. I'm still a fan of the multiple Salsas and the chips can never go wrong with that. The customer service at this location is also A+ so highly recommend this location based on food quality & service. If you're ever in the Edgewater neighborhood looking for a quick & quality stop on by & Welcome to Moe's.

  5. 'Twas my first time trying Moe's yesterday. A fast food restaurant that greets customers with a huge "WELCOME TO MOE'S" was the beginning of one of the best quick dinners I've gotten lately. I've actually never even heard about this awesome place. It's a couple levels of ecstasy above Chipotle- the variety in the ingredients to put in your salad bowl was amazeballs. I asked for the salad to be in a tortilla shell, but it's not required. It just.. makes it look prettier. I certainly didn't eat it, and what you need that for when you get a load of chips on the side for free?

The salad was so filling, I could hardly feel myself. Didn't give me agita though – I was a bit afraid that I'd be experiencing some serious acid reflux but nope! It was allll smooth sailing.. I think I'll always be wearing yoga pants to this place – I was about to spill out of everything I was wearing. Ok, TMI. Calorie count may be a bit steeper than Chipotle, but it's still worth it! Chipotle is now a backup.

The self-serve salsa station was also a nice surprise – I tried all of the salsas and all of them were tasty. The mango habanero salsa was supposed to be "HOT" as compared to the other "medium" salsas, but it was the least spicy out of the four I tried.

This location has a huge dining area, with at least 10 booth seats. It's definitely a family restaurant, geared with a hefty kids menu (and free for kids Sundays) – thought I'd lost my left year from all that screaming from the 5 kids next to our table. Another win for Moe's, making it friendly for all ages.

  6. I'm a big fan of Moe's. It is my favorite. Fast food/take out Mexican food. I love how you can take the salas and hot sauces to accompany your food yourself. This location also has an awesome soft drink machine  I'm actually now craving Moe's.

  7. Good ambience, good burritos, great guacamole and salsa verde.
I love that guacamole comes with the burritos instead of being extra like at chipotle. Give you chips with your order too.

Overall, this is a much better deal than chipotle with fresh ingredients.

Chipotle is better with their cilantro rice and over all does do a better burrito but it's not as good as a value and you get almost as good of a burrito at Moe's for less.

  8. One of my favorite places for a quick bite:

    1. More variety than Chipotle (quesadilla, salads, tacos, burritos, burrito bowl, nachos, oh my!)
    2. Free chips and salsa (5+ types of salsa too!)
    3. The soda machine has so much variety
    4. More variety in the ingredients
    5. Around the same price as Chipotle
