  1. This place was just middling of the road in terms of food, I feel almost bad for giving them a 3 star because their service was actually top notch.

We ordered some baked scallop/shrimp/clam dip or something. Not sure if they still have it it might have been promotional. It had good chunks of the right ingredients in it howerver it was loaded with salt. So salty drank alot of water.

Singapore Calamari is basically fried calamari with a peanut dressing. The peanut dressing was not even close to good (sorry, SEA descent snob here) but it is what it is, calamari was good though. I'd say a decent dish if you dont know any better.

Seared ahi tuna bowl. I would of highly enjoyed this dish if my avacado was ripe. But it wasnt. So it was hard. It also made me feeling slightly queasy, and I have an iron stomach. Maybe because the tuna had a weird sheen to it.

Steak: undercooked it. however, they came and gave us another brand new plate of food.

The management also offered us dessert complimentary because of our undercooked food. It was really nice of them but we were really full.

Overall I dont know if I would come back here again. However, the dining options around the area arent the best so… yea maybe i'd come back here 😀

  2. Best for appetizers and dessert. The garlic mussels and bang bang shrimp are delicious. The mussels go really well with the bread they serve. Not too impressed with the fish or tacos for the main course. Get the crime brûlée for dessert, its perfect to share.

  3. We've been coming to this place since it first opened some years ago. My husband brought me here to celebrate my new job. Yes, he could have taken me to a more "upscale" venue, but I was actually craving BFG. Used to come with him all of the time before he started regularly going during his "Boys Night Out" and I had no one to go with anymore. 🙁 But, I digress..

The service was really friendly and attentive, which of course is always good. I have to say that I was a little disappointed in the changes to the menu. They had a number of items that were my go-to that I just loved and they were gone. Specifically, my muddled strawberry martini! 🙁 It was perfection and when I asked if they could recreate it, they disappointingly could not. What I got instead was the pear martini and it wasn't something that I would order again.

Hey, at least they still have the Bang Bang Shrimp! That will never go. LOL.

The corn and lump crab chowder was delicious! I would also order the calamari again. I love the sweet and spicy dipping sauce. I'm very saucy and that can make or break any dish. I decided to try the spicy tuna bowl and I really wish that I hadn't because it fell short.. not sure where but it seemed to lack taste.

The key lime pie ended the meal and it was decent–didn't really stand out against any others I've tasted.

I should've reviewed it a couple of years ago when I would've given it 4, due to some subtle but obvious changes–service and apps withstanding–this is the most I can give.

  4. Here on business and had 2 previous Bonefish experiences in different cities – one great and one so-so.  Sat at the bar and ordered from the main menu.  Had the wood-fired shrimp and scallops with a mango salsa, fresh snap peas, and steamed broccoli. Asked to have the shrimp and scallops blackened which made the dish absolutely wonderful – nice kick from the spice but complimented with the cool mango. Nice portion and the price is just perfect for what you get.  Great taste and great value. Bar tenders were both young but very attentive. If you come, consider this dish and you won't be disappointed.

  5. I've been hear multiple times and I'm a huge fan of the place.  For a chain restaurant, in New Jersey, I think they do a great job.  I always order the Bang Bang Shrimp (highly recommended) and order some a fish dish.  I've tried their salmon before as well as a miso fish special, which was outstanding.  Great place for a date, to meet up with friends or family or to come alone and sit at the bar and watching TV.

  6. Update: I have spoken to the representative at Bonefish Grill whom had personally reached out to me concerning the issues i had with this establishment. The representative showed so much passion about the quality of food that Bonefish Grill puts out that it convinced me to try this restaurant again. I will keep you updated on my next trip to Bonefish Grill. I must say that it is rare and very much appreciated that a restaurant cares about its customer's view so much that they have a representative reach out to address the issues the customer has.

I went to Bonefish with come colleagues of mine for dinner after work. We were promptly seated as soon as we walked in the door. Our waitress greeted us and quickly took our orders. The restaurant is nice on the inside and give a warm welcome. Soon thereafter our meals came out but unfortunately the food was just ok. I was not blown away about the qualify of the food and to be very honest I was somewhat disappointed. I am not saying that this place is a bad restaurant at all. I am just saying that with my particular preference I did not like the food. Overall i would rate the restaurant as follows: the atmosphere was a 3.5 stars, the service was 4 stars and I thought the food was a 1.5-2 stars. I feel that maybe someone else would love this restaurant and the food but its not for me. The views expressed are of my own and are my true personal experience at this establishment. My personal experience may not reflect this actual establishment, their quality or someone else's experience at the establishment.

  7. I thought this was a good experience for a chain restaurant, it felt quite intimate and cozy. I loved the olive oil with seasoning that comes with the warm bread, so homey and welcoming. I had 3 raw oysters as my appetizer and they were very fresh. My beau had the crab and corn chowder which he raved about. I had one of the specials for my main – the soft shelled crab – which was crispy and well seasoned. He had the bacon jam salmon, but he wasn't a fan of the sauce. Then we shared the macadamia nut brownie for dessert, which was an absolutely decadent way to end the meal (and maybe my favorite part since I am a chocoholic). It was my first time there but I think I will be back during one of my visits to New Brunswick.

  8. Came here last minute for dinner last night &, as always, I had a pleasant experience.

I love the chill vibe about this place. It's not too bright or loud or dark. There's lounge seats outside & reg tables/bars in the inside. It's a good place for dinner with friends, family, or a date.

If you're a fan of seafood like me, this is definitely a solid place to check out. I've tried many different things at bonefish, and I can't really think of one thing that wasn't delicious.

For appetizers, I would HIGHLY recommend the ceviche. Normally, I don't like this dish at all and I've tried it a couple times in the past before. It's usually too sour or too fishy for me, but this place made it just right. It's one of the lighter options for an appetizer and it was refreshing. And like everyone else here has mentioned, you can't leave this place without trying the bangbang shrimp. It's creamy fried shrimp & has a lot of mayo on it. Delicious.

There are so many delicious dinner entrees to choose from here. If you're feeling seafood, I would say go with the ahi tuna steak dinner. It's not too heavy & has a good kick from the pepper. The mahi mahi is also a great choice. Each bite just melts in your mouth!

Also, they have awesome drink specials on wednesdays!
