This is a solid place for a reliable meal. I had two specials — the lobster bisque and the baby back ribs. Neither dish was better than OK, but both were totally fine. The best component of my dinner was the Captain Lawrence Pale Ale, which comes from the county's only micro-brewery, which is in Pleasantville. You can get the same beer in the Rye Grill and Bar, which I visited the following evening. I liked the latter restaurant better.
Cute little bar/restaurant – a nice alternative to Rye Grille.
Came for lunch with coworkers on a beautiful afternoon and snagged the booth in the front of the restaurant with the window open right next us.
Everyone's sandwiches looked great – I had the Balboa which was roast beef & swiss on garlic bread. Yes, garlic bread. It was as amazing as it sounds. Add a pickle, some perfectly creamy coleslaw, and crispy hot fries and it gets even better.
Waiter was nice and gave us the perfect amount of service – checking in without being obtrusive.
For about $15/ea it was a nice lunch. Would love to come back sometime after work for drinks!
