I was craving Brazilian BBQ so badly, and Boi Na Brasa hit the spot. I was chary when I walked into the restaurant because it's the type of interior decoration that Chef Ramsey would strike down in an instant, but once I sat down and the meat started coming out, I forgot about my surroundings, and it was just about the meat and me.
They have enough varieties of meat to keep you happy and full, but be prepared for a bit of saltiness. The ONLY thing that I was disappointed about was that they didn't serve Pao de Queijo (Brazilian Cheese Bread), but the Sangria sort of made up for it. The service was great, and the price for all-you-can-eat dinner is fair if you come with an appetite. Don't show up and eat only 3 pieces of meat! I'd definitely go here again to get my fill of Brazilian BBQ.
I don't like to be overwhelmed with salty meats, so I stayed away from the bacon wrapped meats, but I definitely had my fair share of top sirloin, which was my favorite by far. So juicy and tender. Mmm.
Amazing, Amazing, and Amazing for food, service, and ambiance!
This is probably the best Brazilian rodizio restaurant in this area. Their service is as superb as some upscale NYC restaurants. We came in late and noticed there were no fried bananas at the salad bar. Without asking, the waiter brought us not only fried bananas but also potato fries from the kitchen. They are very generous and thoughtful. Excellent service and food! Can't wait to go back there again!!
Probably one of the most underrated Rodizio places in the ironbound (especially since its tucked inside a shopping center), Boi Na Brasa was just flippin fantastic. Came here last night for dinner and got the RODIZIO for $22.95 (Dinner price) which INCLUDED the SALAD BAR, WHITE RICE, BEANS, FRENCH FRIES, FRIED BANANA (not plantain), FRIED YUCCA cube, and FRIED POLENTA cube.
Everything I had was just amazing. It's all you can eat meats but let me tell you, it was sooooooo hard not to eat their WHITE RICE too. I found myself picking up the morsels of rice i dropped onto the table and eating it – – it was that bad. The vinegar/onion/tomato mixture they gave us along with the yucca flour (which i thought was unnecessary), was a nice cooling contrast to rich warm meat. The sweet fried banana was excellent in contrast to the salty taste of the meat.
The CHICKEN HEARTS are a must! The BEEF RIBS were a little on the salty end, the GARLIC STEAK gets a three thumbs up if I had an extra thumb, and the TURKEY WRAPPED IN BACON was a new one for me, but also very good.
Oh yea, the pitcher of Sangria ($20), sweet and just yummy!
