  1. First time at this location, and first time at a Green Cactus in years.

I decided to go with their sandwich instead of a burrito.  Forget the name.  Was decent but hard to eat, since it fell apart easily and was a little greasy to hold.  will go back to the burrito, if I go back.

I wasn't impressed with their service.  Typical order format of a Green Cactus, but understaffed. there was a guy there who referred to the cashier by his name, so I figured him to be a regular.  I asked him if it was always this understaffed…he said yes, but he liked the food so much, he knew exactly when to arrive to beat the rush.

I don't, so I'll probably not go back that much…

  2. i had a burrito, and i also had a fish burrito here. whenever i go to a mexican restaurant, i always order a fish burrito (if it's on the menu, otherwise, it's a chimichanga. if neither of them are on the menu, then a steak burrito it is!).

a fish burrito is not that easy to make. the fish has to be perfectly fried and it has to melt off in flakes when you bite into it. it also has to have the right ingredients inside the burrito. so in my opinion, this is quite a reasonable gauge to see how good a mexican restaurant is. if they can make difficult things taste really good, then they can make simple things to make taste even better!

green cactus… had neither of the two things that constitutes a good fish burrito. so sadly, i won't ever be ordering a fish burrito from here again, unless i just wanted to eat sour cream and rice. BUT….not a lot of mexican chain restaurants even offer fish tacos or burritos, so i give them an A for even trying.

aside from their fish dishes, their burritos were not that bad. i still prefer chipotle out of all the mexican chain restaurants. too bad there isn't one near my office.

  3. This is our favorite of all the green cactus restaurants we've been to.  The food is always fresh and the service is quick and polite.   Very good guacamole and fantastic salsas.  This green cactus has no barbs.

  4. Didn't have a lot of time today for lunch so I needed a reasonable healthy lunch on short order. Enter Green Cactus.

I've been here several time before, I like the menu here. Plenty of choices. I usually stick with the Green Cactus Burrito, it's a meal all by itself.  An excellent choice if you've got the appetite.  Today I tried something new, the Burrito Fajita. The Burrito Fajita comes with charbroiled chicken or steak, sauteed mushrooms, green bell peppers, tomato, onions, jack cheese and guacamole served in a flour tortilla. It's delicious! I liked the sautéed mushrooms and green bell peppers, they give the dish some nice flavor.

They have a nice selection of salsa to choose from also, everything from mild to spicy hot. I went for the spicy and my tongue went numb, loved it.

I love the fact that everything is fresh and it doesn't have the factory look of Chipotle.

Two thumbs up from me for Green Cactus. Try it, you'll like it!

  5. It's better than taco bell, but worse than Chipotle.

Also — this specific location is WAY too pricey. Guess you're paying for the real estate….
