Stopped in for a quick late dinner. Food was fresh and restaurant was very clean.
Had nachos with chicken. Chicken was moist and hot. Nachos were also nicely warmed.
I feel like they nickel-and-dime you to death at Qdoba. I ordered a naked taco salad for lunch at this particular location the other day. They charged me extra to add guacamole, which seems to be pretty standard, however, they actually charged me extra for pinto beans! And they added maybe 10 beans to the salad. Apparently, the salad should come sans beans. How come they don't charge you extra at Chipotle for the exact same thing? In fact, they ask you what kind of beans you'd like on your salad! No matter what you want to add, eliminate, or swap out, there is an extra charge.
My BF was happy because the "skimpy meat girl" was not there and he actually got a normal amount of chicken in his burrito this time instead of a rice-to-meat ratio of 90/10.
That said, the food is usually good. The tables are crumb-laden by the time we get there, but I guess we've gotten used to it.
This location is good if you're short on time. It's quick and it's never crowded anymore. A direct correlation to the reviews on Yelp, I presume. 😉
And yes, the parking lot is still ridden with potholes. Watch out!
This place is never busy when I'm there. I don't know why. Its fine. Easy parking. Easy on and off Rt 17. Stand alone building. Nice seating area. What's not to like?
The food is fine here, you know what you are coming for.
