Moe’s Southwest Grill
“It can get a bit pricey but everything they sell is larger in size and they have a salsa bar, where you can get as many salsas for your chips as you'd like.”
“These guys at the Garden City branch really know how to say "WELCOME TO MOES" the right way.”
“Staff is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming (unlike Chipotles cold, modern style).”

I love Moes. You can keep your Chipolte and Taco Bell this is the real deal. The food is always fresh and tasty. Unfortunately the language barrier was a bit difficult to understand today and my order wasn't made correctly. All the chips they gave me were broken and crushed too…I ordered a Funk Meister and by the time i sat down the shell was basically mush,,BUT its still delicious,,,next time ill get soft tacos since thats what it turned into. Place was clean i appreciate the fact they have fresh lemons and limes and oh those salsas. They are delicious. All in all a great meal but one helluva a mess to eat. Thank God i was alone and came home and cleaned up.
Can't really give it four stars, despite the fact that it's not the pigsty that the East Meadow location is. Same bland food, and the garbage can is overflowing so badly that if it weren't for the window the trash would be all over the parking lot.
Welcome to moes, the classic burrito chain. However they offer chips with any order and a variety of salsa on the side. They will put any toppings on anything to make it the flavor you want. A little more variety than chipotle. The line can be intimidating but it moves quickly, and you get a lot of bang for your buck.
Came to moes for the first time. It's a standard Americanized Mexican joint. You can order from the wall or create your own burrito (chipotle style). I got the spicy chicken which was actually spicy and pretty good. They have a salsa bar as well. Overall, I prefer chipotle over this place, but if you're in the mood for Mexican this place can suffice
@ Moe's, what you get is a bit short of the size from Chipotle, and a bit less tasty as Taco Joe's; less choices at Moe's than each. I bought just one chicken burrito adding onion (at an additional 99 cents, which is ridiculous) and a drink; the total came to $12, quite the outrage in my mind… I had 15 on me and it;s a good thing I didn't order a simple taco as I desired… They charge more for a spoonful of sour cream as well.
I suppose they figure throwing free tortilla chips in the bottom of the bag and then crushing it with what ever else you order makes up for the price… not in my opinion.
I rated this place up… but after reviewing it, I'll have to go back and change my vote… I see no reason to return here when although good and tasty, Chipotle is bigger, and Taco Joe's has more variety… They all seem to have the flavor factor but why go out of your way for a few crushed tortilla chips.
I don't know why I never wrote a review for this place but here it goes!
I was always pretty iffy about Moe's since I'm such a die she's Chipotle fan but it definitely holds its own. I always get a salad when I come here and the ingredients are always fresh.
The workers are always really nice and do their best to keep smiles on their face at any time of the day which is really refreshing.
I like coming here for my lunch hour with my sister or coworkers and we always have a good experience. Keep up the good work!
Moes Southwest Grill situates its business model somewhere between Chipolte and Taco Bell. Less of a restaurant approach as Chipole, less quality ingredients but heads above Taco Bell in the same categories.
The Art Vandalay Jr I ordered was a small vegetarian burrito yet ample in size for a lunch meal. When the burrito assembly man drove the non slotted spoon into the black beans as if to say "how much would you like?" I waved my hand in immediate dismissal. Beans on a burrito? Herecy I tell you! I really did not want the rice in my soft flour tortilla, but I did it anyway. My thinking was (having never been to a Moes before) with the additional options still in waiting, I was going to make up for the no bean, minimal rice decision with other items along the assembly line and plump my burrito up. Double the guacamole helping and pico de Gallo, extra jalapenos please.
But what I really enjoyed most was the salsa bar which I rocked. I left with ten containers of wonderful hot sauces and lapped up every last spicy drop.
I love Moe's…and this one in particular.
I'm not a fan of the other "Mexican" options out there.
Moes is quick and always fresh, never have a problem with bad food here.
I dont really considerate fast food either, its not Chipotle or Taco well. I personally think its better then Chipotle.
Employees are generally very pleasant and greet you as you walk in.
