So we should all lower our expectations for fast food a little bit. I feel Chipotle is fast food but it's definitely higher quality than all of its competition. They use non-GMO products which to me says a lot, consider the meats and foods from fast food restaurants are just a bunch of fillers.
Anyhow the service here is great. It is always busy whenever I come here yet its Super clean. They probably clean the restaurant every 10 to 15 minutes. Location is next to the Hmart, so nice spot to pick .
The chips are great here, also the food taste nice and fresh. Had chicken, cilatro brown rice, guacomole and some firey salsa
Lacks a little bit of zest for my tastebuds, but for what it is , its a great deal.
Chipotle is always good. Luckily i haven't been to a one that was bad yet.
One thing that disappointed me though….
was that when i asked if they make Queso-ritos, they said YES. (in case u don't know what that is.. it's a burrito with a quesidilla as the outside wrapping. so a double layer of tortilla with an awesome layer of cheese in between)
so i was SUPER excited, cuz most places i've asked said no.
BUT… when they made it… they just used one tortilla and melted cheese on half of it… then they made a regular burrito
that's the same as a burrito with some extra cheese inside. =(
so close. but so far.
ANYWAYS… aside from that disappointing sad life story… chipotle was delicious
price was decent (much better than in NYC)
Like many other Chipotles, the staff was super nice and efficient. Came in and out for lunch. I'm glad there's one close to my office now.
So I've been waiting for Chipotle to open up from the moment I saw them putting the menus up during construction. After patiently waiting for them to open I had to go in there on the day of the opening. So far it wasn't too crowded and it seems like the perfect place to open up since it is right behind my house.
Im thinking because it is the first day and the staff are still adjusting maybe they werent trained to greet their customers but there wasnt anyone in front of me and thankfully behind me and the girl was casually washing her hands minding her own business when someone next to her finally jumped in to help me take my order.
Compared to nearby chipotle (englewood and edgewater) it definitely seemed fresh and they also had lime wedges along with lemon wedges (i've only seen lemon wedges in edgewater and englewood) but so far it is good and im loving the fact that its so close to home!
