  1. The immediate area is lacking in good choices to eat but I stumbled upon this cozy little Thai restaurant and was very pleased! Service was attentive and the food was tasted great…not to mention the fair pricing. They do prefer tips in cash (noted when you get your check) but there is a tip line if you pay with plastic.

Though its food doesn't necessarily differentiate itself from many other Thai restaurants in Hell's Kitchen, it's the perfect spot to grab some decent Thai if you're in the immediate area! Will definitely be back.

  2. I've happened across this place twice now while visiting NYC. Now I will make a point to go there when in town. The drunken noodles were exactly what I wanted. Exactly. Perfect flavor, fresh vegetables and good-sized portion. The service was wonderful and the space is cute, albeit small. I wish I could go there right now!

  3. I stayed at a hotel nearby and had food delivered late. I kept it simple and ordered chicken pad Thai (spicy). I didn't know what to expect as the reviews are mixed but I thought it was delicious. Could have been spicier, but the chicken was really good and there was a ton of it. And the convenience factor of having it delivered trumps everything. It got here quickly and when they said it would, and ordering on the phone was a breeze. The delivery guy was nice and they don't charge a delivery fee. I eat Thai food all the time, this wasn't the best I've ever had but I would absolutely order it again or stop in next time I'm in New York.

  4. I had gotten a take out menu for Der Krung last week and decided to have lunch there today. The city was empty with everyone being out of town so it was an ideal time to take advantage of lunch here. I was seated immediately and given a menu Their menu is varied [as are most[ appetizers, soups, salads, fried rice and noodles, curries, etc. I ordered the Kee Mao [drunken noodles] and there was a choice of chicken, pork, fried tofu, vegetable,  shrimp, calamari beef, mock duck or mixed seafood. I ended up getting the mixed seafood which was delicious. It had just enough zing [mildly spicy] to it and there was an abundant amount of seafood in the disn. It was very tasty. I finished my meal and I would recommend and return.

  5. I came by here for some veggie spring rolls. They cost $5 and were pretty small, but made for a good snack. The only thing is that they almost forced me to pay a tip- reminding me on the way out that tip isn't included. Good spot for a quick meal.

  6. Delicious Thai food!  Came in here looking for a quick but quality dinner and that was exactly what I got.  The inside is small, but nice.  We were seated right away on a Saturday night.  The service was incredibly fast!  I ordered one of the vegetable and tofu stir fries, I can't remember which, but it was very good.  My dish was very flavorful.  I wasn't planning to eat it all and then.. I did. That's how tasty it was.
Fun fact: my boyfriend ordered a curry, and it came in what looked like a giant coffee mug. Now that's the way to eat curry.
    Not too expensive, either!
I'd definitely return if I was in the area again.

  7. came here for dinner on saturday night. this place is pretty small with seating for maybe 20-25 people, so was happy to score a table in the back.

my friend and i shared vegetarian spring rolls, red curry with chicken, kua kai noodles with beef and a bottle of cab. everything was very hot, fresh and tasty. the curry had the perfect amount of mild heat and the noodles were sauced just right. service was very attentive and did a great job keeping our wine and water glasses full.

the menu here has a solid variety, so definitely want to come back and try some other things. the pork belly with chinese broccoli really caught my eye!

  8. This is a tiny and easily overlooked Thai eatery in Hells Kitchen but the flavor is largely impressive. I came here for lunch with a coworker and we were both happy and satisfied after our meal. I got their Pad Kee Mao with vegetable lunch special. I really like it although I wish it is spicier but the noodle is cooked right and they gave me plenty of veggie.

The price is also very reasonable and the service is fast.

I would definitely recommend here for quick lunch with friend/coworker.
