  1. Just okay on both the Mexican and Chinese fronts. Somewhat bland, nothing special. However, it was super cheap (I would have had trouble reaching the $10 delivery minimum on my own) and the food was delivered piping hot.

  2. Well, ya know… three stars for the food itself, but an extra star for Wang Wang Super Taco on the account of originality and price.

I don't know anywhere else on earth that does Chinese food and Mexican food in the same kitchen. Yes, I will have a shrimp burrito with my General Tso's chicken, thank you very much. Some jalapenos in my wonton soup? Sounds great. And as previously suggested, it's a dirt cheap takeout place like any other Chinese hole-in-the-wall… this one just happens to have dirt cheap tacos too.

The food is good. It's a nice alternative to P.F. Chang's and Taco Bell. Perfect for a weeknight or weekend lunch when you just feel like having something different.

  3. From all the hullaballoo (or however you spell it) you would think that Wang Wang Super Taco is something extraordinary. After all, Wang Wang Super Taco was awarded two honors during the 9th Annual Top 100 Chinese Restaurants in North America and Australia Awards ceremony "Top 100 Overall Excellence" and "Top 100 Healthy Menus". I have no idea what these things mean. When I was in high school, I was selected to receive the Top High School Graduates In the US Award and recently, I was invited to be in the Top Most Ethical Businessmen Awards. I don't know what these mean either but since membership and recognition in them requires paying a fee, I sincerely doubt their credibility.

Wang Wang Super Taco is a Chinese food take out restaurant in the typical sense of the word that also serves Mexican food and has a really cool name. Nothing great or exceptional. Just decent food, a staff that barely understands English and a delivery guy who likes to steal bottles of water and snacks off of my receptionist's desk.

If you are looking for Chinese or Mexican takeout food and are local, give them a try. Again, good but nothing exceptional which is pretty much what one would expect. Cool name, though.

  4. Great local chinese joint for my family. We got the reg, lo mein, pork fried rice, wonton soup and steamed dumplings. Yum. I called and ahead and it was ready quickly. Clean facility. Glad to have a local place we like and trust!

  5. Hmm.  Wang Wang Super Taco.  Who came up with this interesting concept?  It's a theme that's springing up locally.  A joint in Garfield has taken it further:  Chinese, Mexican, Italian and Bangladeshi food (OK, I'm exaggerating a bit – no Bangledeshi).  Perhaps, with the medical marijuana craze, there's been a need to satisfy varied household cravings.  Uncle Fritz's toking has remedied his sore neck but he could really go for some Kung Po now, while sister Sally's hookah pipe healing of her horrible  hip has her hankerin' for some juevos rancheros!  You know what they say – necessity is the Mother of invention!

The food is acceptable and is very convenient when you have a bunch of friends who can't decide what the heck to eat!!!!   Rock on, Wang Wang dudes!!
