  1. Service is super fast and there's a lot of waitresses always waiting to help.

Food was ready quickly and so were the drinks, which were extremely good and you can see the bartender really took the time to prepare them perfectly.

They do have happy hour deals with 1/2 off but not for their special drinks.

Tip: you can find the same ingredients of their special drinks on their normal cocktail list, but with a different name. So, don't pay extra, just read the drink menu carefully

  2. Came here for lunch with my co-worker one day. Decided we wanted to try a new thai restaurant around us instead of always going to the same one over and over again. Came upon this place and the decor is really modernized with a some thai culture; I liked it. The service is super quick here. My coworker and I placed our order and within a minute, our dumpling that came with our lunch special was placed on the table already. It usually gets really busy during lunch prime time. But, considering a lot of people come here during lunch; their quick services allow them to have a lot more businesses. I ordered a thai ice tea and chicken pad thai. For a lunch special, the size was decent. I could not finish the entire thing and gave some to my coworker. The pad thai was too crazy sweet compared to other places I have tried. The thai ice tea was not overly sweet either, which was great. Overall, I had a decent lunch, but nothing crazy spectacular 🙂

  3. Good Thai food but not the best.

I ordered grilled chicken with a papaya salad. The chicken was great, the papaya salad didn't have much of a kick to it. There were little to no peanuts on it, no herbs. Just papaya and chili sauce.

I tried my friend's basil rice and I liked it very much!

Also had a bite of my other friend's chicken pad Thai, wasn't good. It was her first time eating Thai food and I am sad to say that she wasn't impressed… I wasn't a fan either. Oh well!

We were given a fried vegetable dumpling and a side salad to start.

    Staff was super super nice!

  4. This place is pretty good for Thai food, especially given its location, where there is not much around it (though it is developing!). The ambience is cool – it is dark-ish with a sort of tropical theme. Many items on the menu are labeled spicy, but are pretty average (at least was the case with the tofu green curry). There are many vegetarian options, which is always a plus – almost all the dishes can be made with tofu. There is also an extensive drink menu. It is kind of loud – even at 7 pm on a Tuesday night every table was full. All in all a good experience for good Thai food at a pretty decent price.

  5. I've come here on several occasions and have enjoyed the food each time. It does seem hard to distinguish between thai food sometimes, unless it's truly horrible. We had the peanut dumplings ($5.95); the 4 dumplings were quite small and really hot, but they were tasty. The peanut also wasn't overpowering in your mouth. The pad woon sen and the pad see ew are the other dishes that I've ordered and have liked both…cooked well, not too oily, tasty, and plenty of vegetables. It seems like the prices have gone up since I've last been here, but the pad thai is still around $10 with tofu or veggies and then a couple dollars more if you want other protein. The tables are pretty much lined up along the left side of the room and there's a bar on the right. I've never really had to wait to get a table, which is a plus! The service has also been nice and adequate and the dishes came out rather quickly. Another plus is that it's near Port Authority.

  6. I used to go here only because it was near my apartment. Until I found a long black hair inside of my peanut dumpling. It was TRAUMATIZING. I bit into that dumpling naively, and I will never be the same. At least they did refund me though. I did enjoy their peanut dumplings and broccoli stir fry before that though.. Too scared to ever go back.

  7. No. Pad thai was pretty lame. No kick. No unique flavor. Really bland. Really unfulfilling. Skip it. My neighborhood is a disappointment in terms of food.

  8. Came to this restaurant to meet an old co-worker for lunch. We were seated right away. We both ordered from the lunch menu which included a small salad and the daily appetizer (meaning you don't have a choice), we received one fried dumpling each. The food came quickly which is very important when you are out to lunch but also need to run back to the office. The food was fine, nothing spectacular but it was satisfying. I would come here again to drop in for a quick lunch.
