  1. Visiting friends and we came to their favorite Thai place. Hd a lovely meal. Everything we had was pretty great. Great meal all around. I love crispy spring rolls and these were perfect. Tried a garlic chicken dish that I really liked. Only complaint would be that my soup came out very spicy. Much spicier than my friend who ordered the same exact soup.

  2. It's been almost a year since I have ordered delivery (and about 6 months since I dined there). While it is on the pricier side for Thai food, they have always given a good portion size to make it worth it. Tonight, I was highly disappointed. Their pad see ew is one of my favorite, so I naturally ordered it. I was so excited when the delivery person rang the doorbell. When I set the container on the table, my smile disappeared. The container was half full. It was still as delicious as I had remembered, but I was still hungry. And yes… I ordered more food from somewhere else.

  3. Look this one up due to the other great Yelp reviews. Not a pleasant experience at all. Came here on a nearly empty weekday and was not satisfied with the experience; I ordered the Massaman Curry and the Pad See Ew to-go.(which took much longer than it should) considering the fact that it wasn't busy. I also noticed that everything on the menu was more so overpriced. When I finally got back with the food, I realized how poor the packaging was on the curry. It was everywhere. (I was extremely careful when I was holding it) I opened the second dish that I ordered which was the Pad See Ew with Tofu, and was confused by the darkish color that it had. (Too much sauce?) Not only that, but the noodles were literally in small chunks. Let me say, I've had Pad See Ew many times before, and I hate writing bad reviews, but this one was just terrible. It was a total fail. It looked and taste very poorly done. I couldn't taste any flavor to it. The little tofu chunks were also disappointing, very hard and didn't taste fresh at all. Needless to say, this will be my last visit!

  4. I stopped by for lunch here with my husband for a late Monday lunch. The restaurant was half full and even though it was day time the lighting was still pretty dim. The servers were very energetic and we were seated right away.

For lunch they had an awesome $8-9 lunch special (depending on the meat you choose for the main course.) I chose the chicken and shrimp dumplings, the salad, and the pork bbq, with a side of thai ice tea. Everything was so delicious. After eating the salad and the dumplings I was already pretty full. The portions were very reasonable, and when my pork bbq came it had a side of rice along with it.

For only $8 it's totally a sweet deal.

  5. Thanks to a recommendation I was able to try out a great restaurant. I gave Bangkok Cuisine a visit on a Friday afternoon and was surprised how busy it was considering we went on a weekday. The lunch special is only $8-$9, depending on the type of meat you have (or vegetables or tofu if you choose). The special also comes with an appetizer (spring rolls, vegetable dumplings, or chicken & shrimp dumplings). It also comes with a choice of soup or salad. If you choose the soup you will be given vegetable soup which is very good.

For appetizer I had the vegetable dumplings, while my friend had the spring rolls. Both are excellent. I chose the green curry with tofu as my main dish. It was very flavorful but a little too spicy. My spice tolerance is too low for the green curry but I enjoyed my dish anyway. My friend had the drunken noodles, which are noodles   in basil. It was one of the best drunken noodles I ever had.

I also had the mango Thai iced tea. Its expensive ($4) but pretty expensive if you consider how little liquid is in the cup. The cup looks long which can make you think you are getting a lot but if you look at how skinny it is, one can tell how ridiculously cheap they are when it comes to making the drink. I asked for less ice yet my drink came with a lot of ice. Do they not know what less ice is?! How could one not know? As for the taste, it's great. The sweetness is perfect; it's not too sweet. The mango flavor is a great addition to the drink. The lychee Thai iced tea is great as well.

What a great addition to the neighborhood.

  6. Went here last night for dinner. Service is always fast, prices are reasonable and food is good. Not the best thai but decent. I've been here approximately 15 times before. Last night I had the vegetable dumplings which are my favorite thing here. Also had the spring rolls, which are ok, the shrimp with garlic sauce which wasn't that great, drunken noodles and pineapple fried ride- all good, I shared with others at my table so we each sampled different dishes. I also had their thai iced tea and tom yum soup. I love their thai ice tea.

  7. The food is high quality, and the service is good. For sure this is the best Thai restaurant in Forest Hills. In particular this place is terrific for the lunch special. $8.95 for a soup or salad, appetizer, and entree. It's a good deal and the food is good. This is one of the best lunch deals in the neighborhood! Anyway, I am happy there is a decent Thai restaurant in Forest Hills, and I have eaten here many times. The other day I had some comfort food – pad thai for lunch. It really hit the spot.

  8. Ordered delivery directly from the restaurant without going through the online delivery option.  Food arrived within 40 mins.
Ordered tamarind duck, bbq pork and papaya salad.  The menu clearly says half duck but lady who picked up the call told us it's 1/4 duck.  For $19, its not a lot of duck.  Duck was very crispy but skin was a little overly crispy as if was fried a bit too long.  BBQ pork was delicious.  Full of flavors and portion was about 5 sticks.  And we were pretty happy wirh the papaya salad.  You can ask for the mild -hot option for papaya salad.  Even medium spicy can be pretty hot so beware.  Definitely not bad for being neighborhood delivery go to.
