Aki sushi is one of those places that is good but not great. The buffet menu is fantastic if you are home sing a sushi fest but if you want a grand meal event this is not the place.
The service isn't bad but again just passing. I think it's a family run joint and the joy of providing great service has gone. The last time I was in there was a non asian person making the sushi.
I do go in occasionally when I want a quick sushi fix and never order hot food here with other asian restaurants close enough to me. This is the closest sushi joint to my house but lately I have been making my own sushi and I like my own sushi better.
Pop in and try it yourself but don't take a guest or date here if you want to make an impression.
