From what I know there has always been a bagel shop here. The prior shop was getting run down and eventually closed. This has reserved spots, which I suppose is good since this lot is tight. Their bagels are oversized, lots of toppings and relatively chewy. Not my favorite bagel but not the worst I've had either. They offer hot and iced coffee. The day I went they had French vanilla and plain. They have a small bin with ice. So, where they lost me. I stopped here on the way to the shore and asked to use their bathroom before the long drive. The lady that butters the bagel said in an unfriendly tone that it's not for customers. Then I noticed they keep napkins, straws and any extras you may need behind the counter. They seemed quite stingy and overpriced. Overall I got a very cold, unfriendly vibe where they are solely in business to make money and don't care about customer service. For a bagel and small iced coffee it was over $5. That's Manhattan prices! My father had a similar experience. I hope they change their attitude or they won't make it with Heartland Village bagels only a mile away.
