I've been to Green & Tonic numerous times. They have an exceptional assortment of juices, smoothies and other goodies- to satisfy your sweet tooth. They even have smoothies with cocoa. Jackpot!
Sometimes, their menu can be a tad overwhelming. Yet, it offers a wide selection of fruit combinations and they're very tasty.
Although pricey(this is Greenwich after all), Green & Tonic does offer quality smoothies and juices with ingredients of the highest quality . Green & Tonic is reasonably nice, with enough seating to chill- nothing to rave about-seriously. Their TKO is in their beverages! Their menu is relatively standard but with a funky and unique side to them.
I never thought I'd say this, but that 8oz smoothie was totally worth the $9 I paid for it.
If you ever find yourself in this neck of the woods, I highly recommend Green & Tonic for a quick, healthy and delightful fuel-up. In addition to the wonderful smoothies, they've got salads, wraps, coffees, iced drinks, booster options to add to your smoothies (Liquid Cayenne, anyone? How about Bee Pollen?) and a nice selection of other healthy snacks in their spotlessly clean space, which also happens to be very chic and very cool.
The smoothie I went for? The Green Guru, "A light, refreshing, detoxing, green smoothie. Green tea, coconut water, lemon, spinach, banana, green apple, ginger, mint" so perfectly balanced and replenishing I felt a surge of contentedness upon first sip, and was actually quite satisfied all afternoon. It was just delicious. The key ingredient? The mint. It was ever-present in a very pleasant and refreshing way. SO perfect.
My one gripe? There were no baby changing units in either of the two bathrooms, not even the big one. I had to change my 3-month-old on the floor, which felt like bad parenting. Other than that? Love it.
