  1. Really good food! I am a vegan and came here tonight with a non-vegan and we both enjoyed what we ordered. I got the peanut tofu dish which was really good. The broccoli wasn't of the frozen variety and the tofu was nicely fried. The sauce was really good, but I wish there had been more of it. There wasn't much and it led to the meal being a bit dry. They have a lot of veg options on all parts of the menu, which is great. They have a byob policy, so everyone in the restaurant had beer or wine they brought with them. There's a wine store next door, so it makes picking up something last minute pretty easy.

  2. The selections are slim in this area as far as places to eat go (unless I missed something) this place was a pleasant surprise. The shrimp spring roll was ok but only get this of your entree is not going to shrimp. It comes in a set four and are good and crispy. I had the panang curry with chicken. The curry was creamy with a nice touch of peanut and coconut flavor. There was a fair amount of chicken, rice and a nice sliced avacado on top.

All was very good and was well served by the staff though the restaurant is kinda small seating didn't take too long on a Saturday night. I'm not sure if I'd make a special trip out here but I'm happy to know that there is something out here among an empty and non satisfactory line up of restaurants and take out spots.

  3. Prior to this place opening, I was in The Way Station telling a friend of mine how the neighborhood needed some new Thai food, seeing how Udom had gone downhill. To my delight less than one week later Thom opened up right next to The Way Station.

Finally a Thai place I could love. Best of all, the place is BYOB! Just walk down the street to a place like The Winey Neighbor, and pair off your drinks with what you think you're gonna get.

The service here was top notch and very friendly. The place is clean and modern looking. They did a lot with the place. The restaurant that was here prior to it, was in disarray. There's been some bad places in this spot but I think this one is here to stay.

We got some shrimp rolls which were good, but the drunken noodles and pad thai were fantastic. They'll cook them to how you like. I'd been missing some good Thai like this for awhile.

So come by. Bring something to drink. And enjoy an amazing meal.

  4. Discovered this place after leaving the Brooklyn Museum and wandering down Washington Ave. It seems like a pretty new spot so it was my first time trying it. It is a small place but we sat down right away luckily. The menu was laid out nicely, listing favorite dishes on one page and the rest of the dishes on the other pages.

For an appetizer we tried the shrimp spring roll which was nice and crispy! It came with a sweet dipping sauce as well. For my entree I had the Tamarind shrimp with veggies. The jumbo shrimp were great, battered and fried. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side for me however. The rice was nice but plain so it needed to be mixed into the sauce but then it was to sweet. I did have some of the panang curry which was very good!

Our service was very friendly and the food did not take too long. The prices were also pretty reasonable so that was nice. I would definitely try this place again for another dish.

  5. Came here on Monday evening. The restaurant was packed – which was a good sign. What was not a good sign was how long the food took to come – also they forgot some items. Service was non existent (I think because they were so busy). The food was really tasty though. I think maybe because they are a new restaurant they are still working out many kinks. I tried the eggplant basil and asked for it spicy – and it actually came out spicy – which was really nice (this rarely happens!). You can order a single curry puff for $3 which was kind of odd, but it was decent – no complaints. Would like to return in a few weeks (or months) when they have worked out some of the issues.
