Buon Appetito
“I can't get enough of their lasagna, humongous meatballs, and cannoli's. The lasagna tastes like my great grandmoms' who was Italian.”
“Great calamari, salmon, lobster ravioli, etc. Everything is tasty and the service is good.”
“Try the shrimp salad or chicken francese for a nice treat.”

Really had a great time there tonight. Looks like the place has been updated, service is excellent and the new menu is great.
We started with the balsamic calamari appetizer. My husband had lobster bisque & I had a salad. It wasn't an ordinary salad, it was chock full of olives, fresh mozzarella and plum tomatoes. The husband said his lobster bisque was very good.
For dinner I had Chilean sea bass in a pesto cream sauce, he had cod & clams over spinach. We had sangria with our meals, cappuccino for me and an espresso for him after, and we shared a lava cake. We brought a lot of food home since there was no way we could eat it all.
The dining room looks a lot better, I like the newer touches in there. It's really been updated well. You can always find a groupon or living social deal, which helps with the bill.
Fantastic service! Couldn't ask for more.
This place is alright. I went here for lunch with my cousin and it has a nice outdoor area, we ordered fried calamari which was a bit too salty then we waited like half an hr for our entrees. Service isn't all that, maybe cause it was midday during the week, but still it should be on point. The chicken francese wasn't as hot as it should of been. It was good, just the sauce began clamping up because it was getting cold. The waitress was super nice, but she would disappear for about 20 mins a time. Sangria is good, but overall, I'd have to come another day to check the service out.
The waitstaff are fantastic!!!! The calamari, delicious. The linguini and clams, cooked to perfection. The prices are very reasonable. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. They lose points because there isn't any ambiance in the dining room. The lighting is too bright and the tables, too small for a party of four.
A pleasant little find.
Every couple of months I get together with childhood friends from my hometown. Bayonne is a good middle point.
A couple of days ago was our "Guys Night Out". We started out with a nice bottle of Kendall-Jackson Chardonnay from California.
For an appetizer we had a Seafood Trio. A large platter of Fried Calamari, Clams Oreganata and grilled shrimp. It was a good amount for three hungry men.
We each picked an entree, one buddy ordered the Mushroom Ravioli served in a portobello garlic cream sauce. The other chose the Chicken Sorrento, it was topped with eggplant, prosciutto and mozzarella in a light Marsala sauce served over linguini. I went with the Lobster Ravioli with Vodka Sauce. We all enjoyed the food and time catching up. One of us had leftovers but it sure wasn't me.
Our server, Erica was very pleasant and on point. Never rushing us at any point of the evening.
I can't stress enough that the prices are very reasonable. They do have outdoor seating. But, it is out front. I would think it would better for lunch from the deli next door which is connected to the restaurant.
Mamma Mia, what a holy experience! Can I get a hallelujah?!
Everything was superb: the bread (oh, the bread!), the skate (tender), the calamari (light and just chewy enough), the chicken Marsala (fresh mozz and plate licking worthy sauce, *ahem, more bread puh-lease*), and last, the pasta with marinara sauce.
Do not pray to false gods for you are to worship at the church of Buon Appetito, amen.
