“securing this place in my book is the weekend brunch– around $13, including unlimited mimosas or b.mary's. we had steak and eggs which was excellent and veggie pizza which was seriously enjoyable.”

  1. ARE you kidding me? Let me preface by saying that I have been coming to this place for a few years, solely because it is the cheapest of all the unlimited brunch spots in the neighborhood. It was always a joke that the food was terrible, but the service was great, and there's outdoor seating in the summer.

    To call my most recent meal there a catastrophe would be a generous understatement. First of all, none of the great staff that we remembered were working there. We sat down to peruse the menu, and the waiter came over to take our order. We said we needed a moment, but we'd love to start with champagne. He said that he could not serve us until we ordered food "BECAUSE THE CAMERAS WERE WATCHING." I… don't even know what that means.

    So, we order – including a burger which we asked for "medium rare.. just please make sure it's not well-done." About 10 minutes, 3 requests, and two shoo-shoos from the waiter later, we FINALLY got a drink. Is this a money-saving technique to preserve as much $3/bottle prosecco as possible? Nightmare.

    When the food finally came, the burger was CLEARLY one of those frozen patties that you pop out of the freezer and directly into like a deep-fryer or something. And it was grey, through and through. After the waiter trying to convince us that it was, in fact medium, he finally took it away and brought us some pasta.

    I feel bad, because the pasta and pizzas (just don't order sausage, it's gross) are good enough to be passable for an $11 unlimited brunch. However, the service was so negligent and, at times, rude, that I never ever want to go back there again. Hit Scottadito for delicious food served by attentive staff that keep your flutes full. It's worth the extra $5.
