Piccolino’s
“After 3 (or 4) shots and a pitcher of Sangria (also good-a little strong though), I basically stumbled out of there tipsy and full.”
“I see lots of families there in their casuals, which probably means that this place is their local favorites too.”

A friend and I went here to have lunch. I was craving Italian food, as I always do when I visit N.J., and this was the perfect spot to sedate my desire for authentic eats. They bring out these wonderful fried sweet potato things that are light, fluffy and addictive! Between those sweet pockets of wonder and the complimentary fresh Italian bread garnished with Olive Oil, by the time my meal arrived I could barely scarf it down. I ordered the classic Spaghetti and Meatballs. The Meatball was huge and just as good as Nona used to make it! Also, the waiter was fabulous and I assume trying to get us drunk because he kept bringing out complimentary shots after we finished our meal! After 3 (or 4) shots and a pitcher of Sangria (also good-a little strong though), I basically stumbled out of there tipsy and full. I really like this place and will visit again on my next trip home. 4 YuMMOS and a Hell Yes for this place.
