Friendly staff. Not the largest selection but has the basics. Will come back since it's a convenient location to where I am.
One of my favorite places in the Heights. Michael knows his stock very well and is so helpful with all questions. All you have to do is tell him what you are looking for and how much you want to spend and you will get set up. The more info you can give him the better.
The selection is vast for wine and alcohol and the prices are good. There are often wine specials so you can routinely get $40 bottles of wine for $20. The place is small and manageable, but again, the selection is nicely variegated and sometimes dizzying making it hard to choose without some assistance.
I have always found buying wine confusing and when you can find a place that knows their stuff, provides good tips and does not try to oversell you, you have reached a great place. This place is a great place and there is no other place I would go to in Brooklyn Heights.
