Found this place on yelp. Called in an order of an egg white omelet with spinach, mushrooms, chicken and cheese along with a Chicken cutlet BLT on a roll. A guy picked up the phone and took my order very promptly. He told me that i get a side with my sandwich ok, Cole slaw it is. He proceed to tell me it would be 30mins! I thought that was a little too much, So when we made it there it was busy. A busy bagel shop on Crossway Blvd. (BTW i never noticed this place before.) Anyways…walked in…busy morning. People were in and out getting coffee breakfast sandwiches and bagels(which looked good), Made it to the counter…what's the damage you ask? $18.60 which included a medium and large coffee. Kinda steep I think. In this place you pour your own coffee the way you like it so i guess that's a good thing. Now my BF said that omelet was soo tasty and satisfying. And we didn't realize this came with home fries but no toast. My Chicken BLT was OK, I've definitely have had better. Not a lot of chicken and This mainly only had a bacon flavor and over whelming with bacon. More like a BLT with some chicken :-/
Slow service, mediocre food, high prices. Not a great combination. The employees here seem to be incredibly easily distracted…instead of having one person make your sandwich, three or four keep tag teaming it while they alternate between counter, food prep, and chatting with customers. Seriously, stop chatting a just make my food. A panini should not take close to half an hour to make. To top it off, the ingredients in it were not what was listed on the menu, and it came out totally charred. Barely edible. And to top it all off, everything comes in plastic takeout containers and plastic bags. Way too wasteful. I hope to never come back to this disappointment.
I know I gave a bad review initially but now, I LOVE THIS PLACE. I order delivery probably 2-3xs a week through seamless and I never have a complaint, it also usually comes really fast. I usually get the Angie omelette, it's always great and the bagels are nice and fresh.
Their cranberry chicken salad is DELISH. And try the graham cracker iced coffee- I'm addicted!
Also, one of the drivers happened to find my friends wallet outside somewhere and they took the time to come and drop it off for her. And all her money was in the wallet when she got it back. It's really nice to know there's still honest people left.
The staff is always super friendly and quick. The delivery drivers are also very patient, I usually have to chase my two pits away whenever I answer the door.
Came here on a Friday night to pick up some chocolate cigars. I ordered two but the guy packed only one of them. It was a blessing in disguise as the cigar seemed under cooked inside. My wife got a chocolate Danish which was out if this world good. I also picked up some lox cream cheese. My review of that is the worse at 1 out of 5 stars. They were open at 7:55 Friday night which got a 5 out of 5. Service was good except for mistake 4 out of the stars. Nice atmosphere. Parking in back.
Solid bagels and good cream cheese. Better than most other bagel stores, but I don't love the sandwiches. The omelettes are good also. I liked their macaroni salad, and some of the chicken salads in the case. Their sausage egg and cheese on a bagel is the best! Only thing is, serious line anxiety.
