  1. I really like their jerk chicken, I will be back for more. It is a small spot and has about 3 seats by the window, not a place to go sit down and enjoy your food. It is more for take out, on that note enjoy the food!

  2. I was super exhausted on Sunday so sent Hubby out to pick up dinner here. It's definitely a hole in the wall, so I'd recommend pick up ONLY from this place. Especially because the food is stick-to-your-belly hearty and delicious! Hubby got an order of the oxtail and I got the goat curry. Both were good, but I liked the oxtail better. They were both served over rice and beans, which a generous helping of sweet, fried plantains and some lettuce to add some balance to the heavy meal. Very generous portions and about $12/each for dinner!

  3. We wanted to eat at The Island but they weren't ready until 12:30pm so we were lucky to find 3D Bakery had oxtail & other items on the menu outside their front window.

It's a tiny place with only 3 stool so must everyone does take-out.

    We got for lunch:

mini oxtail lunch $6.5 – it's lots of white rice w/ beans, some oxtail, some veggies & a plantain.  I didn't eat the plantain – looked fried.  Oxtail was yummy, rice was good, veggies so-so.

    B. got Curry Goat lunch $6.5 in Mini size.  He liked it ok, I found my oxtail was better!

Chicken feet soup $3.5 – soup was tasty, if a little bit salty, we liked the chicken feet too.

Ginger beer – is ginger soda & it was very homemade taste.  Very spicy!  I liked it.

    B. got a Pineapple soda – he liked it.

We paid Cash, not sure if they take credit.

  4. We were starving after first Saturday at Brooklyn museum and of course Island had a huge wait so we kept on walking. Eventually we stopped at 3D bakery remembering having some really good beef patties in the past.
Of course at around 9pm there were no patties in fact they were just about to close but we convinced the gentleman to give us food. No lie, we pulled him back into the place and he actually agreed (probably seeing our famished slightly tipsy faces) and admitted he only had oxtail and chicken stew.
2 oxtails and 1 chicken stew later… OMG one of the best oxtails I've had. Not to mention the rice & beans being delicious, soft and fresh tasting despite how late it was.

We thanked him and found a stoop to eat our food on. Perfect Saturday night dinner in Brooklyn and I totally recommend this spot- it's affordable and delicious.

  5. Recently I've been eating more Caribbean food. 3D Bakery serves a good selection of Caribbean food. I had the curry chicken from here and it was delicious. The meat was tender and had so many flavors. It's not the spicy kind of curry, just a tad of spice. I will be returning to try other items on the menu. And best of all, it's well priced.

  6. This place exactly not a whole in the wall spot but it is close to that category.

We were in the area visiting Brooklyn Museum and decided to grab a bite. Isalnds which nearby was packed(I actually did not have good experience at Islands last time I was there).

While walking we stumbled upon this place, they were ready to close the place. I spoke to the owner he said they some food remaining. I had the curried jerk chicken with rice which comes with salad. My friends had the ribs with rice.

It was about $7-8 bucks for a small size and the small size is actually a lot of food. Our food was delish , so flavorful and tasty. The guy was friendly and nice and accommodated us even when he was about the shop.

Looking  for good and reasonably proved jamaican food then come here.

FYI – They just have 2-3 seats inside so it is mostly a take out spot.

  7. Great place for a quick beef patty on the go. Meat was nicely spiced and the dough, while it could have been less thick near the rind went nicely with the whole endeavor.

  8. Some mornings you wake up craving okra and codfish. It just sucks in those moments that it happens, when you realize that this meal is not a part of your recipe arsenal and quite frankly, your mental Rolodex is drawing a blank on where to purchase this meal from. After stumbling upon several closed establishments, 3D appeared and had large pots capable of fulfilling my craving on an early Sunday morning. So I was very happy from that perspective, but taste wise lots was missing and it completely took away from the joy of finding my Sunday morning treat.

By the way, this is a to go establishment with no sit-down option.
