Sprinkles Cupcakes

“The red velvet wasn't my favorite, so I'd stick with one of their more funky and original flavors.”

“Their vanilla cupcake actually tastes like vanilla, unlike other places where you taste plain cake and no flavor.”

“I decided to try Sprinkles when I found out they make strawberry cupcakes with strawberry frosting, which for some reason don't really exist in New York.”

  1. omg I had tried this for the first time a few weeks ago. I was walking back to a friends place when I passed this store. It was around 9 pm and we decided to stop since I had never had Sprinkles cupcakes before. I was amazed when we ordered and paid for the cupcakes using a screen and then even more amazed when the cupcake came out of the wall.

This is such a great and cool idea! It is so futuristic which I loved 🙂

As for the actually cupcakes, they were tasty too!!!!

I got my favorite red velvet and my friend got dark and we both split them in half and shared. They were both pretty good.

I definitely would go back and using the machine outside was so quick and easy, plus I did not have to wait on a line!

  2. Was in the area and noticed the Sprinkles ATM and like any normal person would do I quickly ran across the street. A bunch were taking pics of it but I actually want to try a cupcake. Move outta my way tourists I want to try out this machine. You select your cupcake you want from the touch screen then swipe your card. On the screen you can see your cupcake making its way to you then the door slides open and CUPCAKE! Cupcakes are $4.50

  3. Delicious cupcakes in a colorful, cool, nicely designed space. Colorful seating & easy for kids & adults. Large selection. Nice staff. I'll post my deep, rich dark chocolate with white buttercream frosting & the real deal chocolate sprinkles–real chocolate Sprinkkes…not the kind you buy at the supermarket. THESE SPRINKLES ARE GENUINE CHOCOLATE.  I love the frosting. I love the cake. I love the cupcake . And, next door is Sprinkles Ice Cream–soooooo good!! A must have!

  4. Cute place and a novel way to get a cupcake. You get the cupcake outside the store through a ATM vending machine. We ordered 3 cupcakes and rash one was very good. It didn't seem to  expensive @ $4.50  per cupcake.

  5. I'm never usually on the UES but had heard about the cupcake ATM because The Internet. I do admit that I am a big fan of Billy's and Magnolia because the buttercream is so good, but my friend made me realize, as we got our cupcake ATM cupcakes, that the cake pales in comparison to the icing at those places. They're more vehicles die icing. Which is fine by me. But the cake to icing ratio and the actual cake itself at sprinkles was so good!! Cupcake ATM can have all my money.

  6. My fave cupcakes from Sprinkles: 1) Banana and 2) Black and White = I will order these any day of the week! Though they've gone up in price to $3.95 each now, and the wait is too long for what it is – if you're ordering 1 cupcake, there's no need for a 10 minute wait. I guess that's why they have a Sprinkles cupcake atm next door. These cupcakes are WAY better than Magnolia's, Billy's Bakery, Buttercup, etc etc.

  7. i had the red velvet a year ago and although it was a bit too sweet, the cream cheese frosting managed to balance it out. recently, i had the strawberry cupcake and it was much too sweet for me (and i am known for my sweet tooth among my friends)

  8. Favorite cupcake place in the world. Every single time I'm around the area, I would go and get their Red Velvet GF cupcake and also bring some back for my sister and her friends. The icing is SO good, perfect mix of cream cheese? Or whatever they put in it. Been to Molly's before and I would say this place is so much better. Their staff is always professional and very friendly. The cupcakes are a bit pricey at 3.75 but they are definitely always a good treat to have every so often.
