My gf recommended coming here because it's new and she loves pad see ewe.
The place is very small. Dining is only for 3 parties.There are no bathroom for use. This place probably used to be a yogurt stand.
The food is great. We shared the pad see ewe, duck with tamarind sauce and the mussels with basil sauce. The tamarind sauce was too sweet for me and the duck was not too fatty.
Getting take out here is a great option
Wow. This place has better Thai food than most of the places I've tried in NYC. Locals will agree – there were so many customers constantly coming in to dine in or to do takeout.
Chok Dee is my go-to place for Thai food. Everything we've tried has been SO good and their hot sauces are on point. When we dine in, the service is over the top.
If you're wondering what to get, their Pad Kee Mow (spicy flat noodle) is bomb. You can ask for less spicy if you can't handle the heat (because it can get REALLY spicy, really fast). I really like their curry dishes too. We've also tried the curry pineapple fried rice which was good, but you really can't go wrong here.
Tiny restaurant, but overwhelming with flavor & taste! Chok Dee is for you if you're looking for affordable, tasty Thai food in NJ. Such an unexpected location for an AMAZING Thai restaurant. Highly recommended!
