This is my uncle's go to Thai place so we tried it out. Got lots of dishes but the memorable ones were the Pad Thai and also a Panang Chicken. Service was friendly and fast and the place filled up for dinner. Prices were fair. Definitely not the best Thai I've had but still a very solid place.
Affordable and decent portion sizes for lunch takeout. It was $8.74 including tax for a beef pad se eew which also came with a chicken and rice broth. The pad se eew needed some more flavor and the beef was extremely dry. The best part of the meal was the broth so choose the soup for lunch as opposed to the salad!
I stopped by sarin Thai to eat lunch. They have great lunch special deals. Whenever I go to a Thai place, I always order the pad see yew. I was extremely disappointed by it. It was too sweet and noodles were overlooked.
This is by far one of the best Thai restaurants I have been too. The atmosphere is tranquil and low lit. It's not loud and just a nice place to relax and enjoy a meal. We also came an hour before closing and they were very sweet and accommodating.
I ordered the spicy fried rice with shrimp and it was so delicious!
There's not much to say except this place is a gem. I would definitely recommend and I will be coming back.
Comfy Thai restaurant in Greenvale kind of feels like you're eating in an exhibit at an Asian art museum. The food is very good, however, I was expecting the curries to be much spicier than they were. Full of flavor, but lacked the heat. Service is fast and prices are average. If you like Thai cuisine but can't take the heat, this place is perfect.
Fantastic Thai joint for Lunch when you're trying to escape from the office!
The Pad Thai and Masaman Curry are spot on (*although the curry could have a bit more heat to it) however it was delicious!
Highly recommended if you work in the area.
Clean interior, decent pricing in comparison to other joints in the area.
Their lunch pricing is great, however the dinner items did look a good bit more expensive. $10 for a great pad thai lunch with awesome thai chicken soup? Yes please!
Lunch specials are GREAT! They run around 8-10 dollars depending on the meat chosen. Comes with main entree and a clear soup (yum)
Though Pad thai is the 'run of the mill' thai food it is delicious!
Have frequented this restaurant several times over the last 5 years, sampling several dishes, and am never disappointed!
After a long hiatus, we were at Baron Nissan last night and after a bout of negotiations we were starved. Being right up the street we pulled into ST, and were glad we did. This has always been a class operation, clean, neat with great friendly service. We broke the ice with a couple of cold Singas to get us into eating mode. For appys we got the Beef Satay cooked medium rare with a wonderful char and taste. To go along with it was the best peanut sauce ever…delish with a nice afterburn! They brought out a small tray of condiments to augment the dishes which had pickled jalapanoes, hot chili flakes, spicy fish sauce and a chili sauce…all were perfect and kicked up the tastes on the dishes.
We ordered for our mains Shrimp in Green Curry and Stir Fried Chicken in Hot Sauce…both delish and fixing our need for heat!! Everything was delicious and nicely cooked with nuances you dont normally find in this type of food…the tastes were addictive and we ate the leftover sauces with a spoon!! Mmmmm good.
