BEST BAGELS EVER! They are super cheap, the cream cheese is delicious (and they give you a TON), the staff is awesome, and the decor is really sweet – all autographed pictures of the Law & Order casts. Prepare for a line but it's totally worth it!
Mmmmmmm good Taylor ham, egg, and cheese on everything bagel. Asked for the bagel to be toasted and the bagel was still soft which was delish!! I very rarely eat this type of b-fast anymore but I do have to say it was worth it!! Got that and an OJ which came to $5.75. Parking is on the street but there's also a shopping center across the street I'm sure you can always use that. Small little place but wasn't crowded which I was surprised for a Sunday morning.
2.5 stars… I rounded up on this one since I'm starting to wonder if I'm a bagel store snob.
The bagels are decent, not fabulous. Oddly, there were only about 5 types of bagels on this Saturday morning at about 10 a.m. Plain, everything, garlic (2 left), and maybe 1 or 2 others. One of the people in front of me asked about the lack of options, and the owner said something about the fact that they hadn't been rolled… it's a bagel shop on a Saturday! There were about 8 types of spreads in the case and a couple of luncheon meats, alongside lox that looked like it had been there way too long. My BECH, although prepared properly jersey-style, lacked flavor (and bacon should NEVER lack flavor).
I'm confused by this place to be honest. The owner/manager seems terrific, as did the woman who helped me. But I had to wait behind 2 people on line even though there were several people chatting up a storm in the back – plenty of people working and yet only the owner seemed to actually be doing any work for the first few minutes I was there. The space is tiny, and awkwardly laid out where you have to move through the line, past whomever is waiting for their order, to see what is in the beverage case. I'm also not sure what people are talking about with "sweet decor" or photos of celebrities… maybe this place has changed hands since their reviews or I just wasn't paying attention to that. The decor was extraordinarily plan and I don't recall any photos.
I doubt that I'll be back.
I thought this was just a standard bagel shop until I saw all the autographed pictures. Mostly from law and order, guess someone was a fan! I ordered an egg white and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel. As much as i want to love it, I only liked it cause I was starving. The bagel was great, fluffy and warm. But the amount of egg they put in it was minuscule. I felt like I was mostly eating the bagel, I had to rip pieces off of it to find the egg and cheese inside.
The place itself is small, have a couple of seats for people to eat quickly. I haven't tried the cream cheese so can't comment on that.
PS. Staff is very friendly! Brownie points right there.
Good Bagel, nothing special. The place is small and parking is not great. The bagel was fresh and soft, even at lunch when I bought. I got a bacon egg and cheese, I normally like my cheese melted, and this was not, and there was barely any ketchup on it. They do have a bunch of NJ celebrity pictures on the walls that are signed which is cool and adds that NJ joint feeling to the place. Overall a good spot but nothing amazing.
Good bagel shop that makes good breakfast sandwiches. They've added some new menu items, but the most important for me is the potato options! I can get a breakfast sandwich with potatos in it now. They're more like thick cut chips than home fries though.
The bagels here are pretty good. Soft, fresh, and pretty big. I like their veggie cream cheese as well. Overall, it's a helluva lot better than Manhattan Bagel across the street. (In terms of breakfast anyway)
I've been here before to get breakfast and its pretty good. I get the usual- taylor ham, egg and cheese on a toasted everything bagel. The bagel itself is nice and soft and pretty big too. Its a good breakfast sandwich. You can park right on the street. Its a pretty small place, but it serves the purpose. prices are reasonable.
