A lot of new liquor stores opened up in the area. Particularly one on Parsons and one on Kissena. This one was around for a while longer but it's definitely smaller with less of a selection.
The owners are really nice and are working in the store on most days. If you tell them what you like they will make recommendations. They have wine tastings from time to time which I have never seen at any of the other liquor stores in the area.
The store's upkeep could be better. The shelves in the back have some dust on them. No one wants to buy a dusty bottle of wine. Overall the prices are okay and mostly competative with the other liquor stores in the area.
I walked out and left my credit card once and they held onto it for me when I returned the next day.
