  1. If I was on death row, my last meal would be Everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese and lox from B4U.

Hands down best bagel place around. My out of state friends now understand why you cannot eat "bagels" in the midwest.

Over time their bagels have gotten smaller, but still worth it (plus less calories?!) I only wish they were more diligent about getting toppings on the top and bottom of my bagel.

  2. Not as good as you would think but better than a chain.  Super efficient staff but not warm and friendly.  Only found this place by accident. Got lost in New Jersey. So, of course, I stopped and had a bagel!  The place is a bit bare bones as far as decor is concerned.  Think Soviet government office staff cafeteria.

  3. One of the best bagel place I've ever been to

Everything here is super fresh and amazing

Better than NYC or any other claims ppl have

  4. I felt that I should update my review of this immensely popular bagel place in Short Hills.  The parking lot is often crowded but don't let that dissuade you from giving this place a try.  The bagels made on premises are fresh and delicious.  They have all the standard flavors and many unique ones such as jalapeño, pumpkin, rye, etc.  They make a really good jalapeno cream cheese with real jalapeños in it which I recommend highly.  In addition to the bagels they have all the usual salads: egg, tuna, chicken, macaroni. etc.  They also have sliced meats for sandwiches.  Let's not fort the smoked fish which they slice on premises.  There is always a line which seems chaotic but is actually organized well and runs efficiently.  The ladies at the register are all latinas.  Super nice and very hard working.  Tip jar in front take note.  They have frozen bagels six for $2.00 in a freezer to take home.  Best bagels in the area hands down.  The best thing ever is served here, namely, the Bagel Bomb.  Taylor Ham or Bacon with egg, cheese and a hash brown on a bagel.  Ultimate hangover cure and absolutely amazing.  Love it!  I'd eat every day but then I'd be a blimp.  My only complaint is the coffee which has gone from awful to meh, which is an improvement but not good enough.  It is a must go if you are in the area.
