I usually have a more eloquent choice of words, but I think the following best describes the Bagel Bros: the place has been killin' it under new management! The decor looks so much cleaner and modern, the selection is vast and the service is friendlier and updated. The food is really really good there too – the bagels are well made and delicious, plenty of meats in your breakfast sandwich – you can't go wrong!
However, the earlier you get here for breakfast, the better because business seems to have been booming – meaning that they are prone to running out of plain bagels by about 11 am on a Saturday! Yikes!
I have one minor critique with why this place doesn't get 5 stars, and this is more constructive than anything. I'm not sure if they are the owner's daughters, but whenever I went there – these girls were on point with all of the orders: they allowed you to take your time ordering, they didn't mess up the order and were pretty nice about it. It really felt like a well-oiled machine behind the counter – no madness like some other family-owned bagel shops. I went on another time when they weren't there and the service, while OK felt more like other bagel shops that I have ventured in the past. Felt a little rushed, they almost got the order wrong, almost confused someone else's order for mine…could have been a disaster had I not been paying attention. So my only critique is to have those kids back there running show on the counter.
Regardless of that one minor thing, this is now my favorite place to go to. Thanks Bagel Bros!
If it wasn't for the food, I would probably give this place a one star. The lack of professionalism when it comes to their customers really ruined my experience. I came here from a jet lagged trip craving for a good bacon egg and cheese and my turn was pushed back because of a regular that came in after me. There were two guys working the counter and for some reason, both guys needed to help a customer purchasing a bag of bagels. While my husband and I were waiting, a regular customer came in after us and the guys decided to take our order WHILE conversing with the regular. I'm all for conversing with regular customers, but please be respectful of the people that were ahead of them. I asked for a bacon egg and cheese and the guy completely ignored me and took the order of the regular. My husband stepped in and ordered it for me. We sat down waiting for our food, only to see them serve the regular FIRST, which was really annoying. I understand that I ordered three items to go, but the regular could've probably waited a little longer than we had to wait.
The guys working here is extremely unprofessional and clearly deaf because they can't say anything and they can't hear anything without screaming it at you. Although the food is good, I can't say my experience matches the quality of their food. The place is clean and while they treat their regulars like family, you won't get the same if you're new going in with a regular coming in after you.
