  1. ME WANT COOKIE!!!! After having a cookie from here you'll be cookoo for them!! I first sampled their cookies at a street fair in downtown Brooklyn.  They also have graced Jamaica Avenue several times during JAMS festival each year. I'll pass every vendor but I never fail to stop for a gourmet southern cookie.

The assortment of flavors are INSANE! German Chocolate, Cranberry Peacan, Tripple Chocolate,  White Chocolate Macadamia.  All your favorites and anything and everything you can hope for. The cookies are moist, Soft as cotton, rich in ingredients and just flavorful. They are truly baking with love here and it shows. You can spot the table easily at a street fair by looking for the tables with a football field of assorted cookies.

This is some place you put on your bucket list.

  2. Not many choices… several types of cookies and 2 or 3 different kinds of pie.  We tried a few cookies and they were just okay.  Seemed like they were a few days old.

They actually had TONS of pecan pie in 3 different sizes! I figured if a place has this many pecan pies, it must be a signature item and it must be good. Wrong!  I bought a large pie on a Saturday and brought it to a family dinner on Sunday. I took one bite of my slice and thew it out.  I could tell it was going to be bad as soon as I removed my watery slice and saw all the oil in the bottom of the pan.  The filling was gritty and oily and I thought perhaps it wasn't fully cooked.  Check out my picture.  Not very appetizing, right?  Maybe it was just a bad pie.  The other pics of the pecan pies actually look pretty good.

  3. I stumbled across this place one day when I was wandering through the neighborhood.  Beyond having great reasonably priced pies, they make one of the best cakes I've ever had.  It's a yellow cake with chocolate frosting and it appeared at my bridal shower and then again later at my birthday party.

    I love it!
