  1. Where do you go for breakfast in Staten Island? Well we went to the only open restaurants open at 8AM on a Sunday. Boy oh boy was it a good choice. When I walked to the bathroom, I noticed all the awards the chef won competing on Food Network. Also the chefs made a cake for the past Pope!!!

Anyways the food, it was delicious. The portion sizes were ridiculous, usually I eat my dish and my girlfriends leftovers but this time it was impossible. I ordered the Steak and Eggs while my girlfriend ordered the Diavolo. The steak and eggs were done perfectly to my liking. The Diavolo was eggs and pancetta baked in a spicy marinara sauce. I love marinara sauce and they know how to serve it here for sure. It was the best breakfast for under $30. There is a all you can eat Brunch but it was just too early for that considering each plate of food was the size of Bigfoot's face. We will come back one day for the Brunch after we do some prep.

  2. Food is good.
Went for brunch, which is reasonably priced.
Paid 80$ for brunch and drinks for 2 people
Left a $20 tip, was sitting finishing our drinks, then asked to get up because they had a large party coming in.
Poor planning doesn't mean I should rush my meal.

  3. You really can't beat the $21/pp brunch here. It's an endless amount of food and coffee.

To start a giant plate of fruit and one just of assorted pastries. I recommend the Hampton Benedict with lump crab meat. There was so much left over that I brought it all home to a happy husband.

    Can't wait for next Sunday.

  4. My co-workers and I have a great bunch! Highly recommend going there!

  5. When I lived in the mid shore, I always passed by this place until one of our friends mentioned it to us.  I'm glad they did b/c it's like a hidden gem.  There are so many Italian Bakeries in SI and everyone has their own opinion to which one is better than the other.

Let's start of with their gelatos.  They have about 10-12 choices of gelato.  The one that I keep getting whenever I am there is the Baci gelato.  When you order the cake, you can order your cake half cake and the other half any gelato you like.  It's so tasty, plus they add rum in between.  That's a great cake.

I had ordered their food and it's pretty delicious.  I had their grilled calamari with salad.  I wasn't too fond of their dressing that came with the salad, but if you had lemon on it, things are better.  They had great choices of panini with soup choices.  I've had a few already and it was tasty.

I basically come here for their gelato and cakes.  My husband loves their cannoli cake…they actually make a better one than Cake chef,  Crown Bakery and Alfonso's.

They cater, also, and the prices are reasonable and the quality is awesome.

  6. I can never get enough of this place, its by far the best and so much better than the one on HYLAN.

Very clean and professional helpful staff.

Food is delicious and always fresh, even the pizza is really good.

The breads and sauce they serve you in the beginning can be so addicting, its so damn good, its like a tomato paste, DELICIOUS! Just want to put it on everything.

I love there pasta dishes and they always have specials every day which are awesome and sound really good too.

Decent prices and always stay for dessert! SO MUCH TO CHOOSE FROM! & its worth every single sweet bite with a nice cappuccino!

This place is awesome and everyone should try it at least once if there around the way.

  7. I'm a fan!

My favorite part of Bruno's was the pastries they give during Sunday Brunch. It's almost enough to have, get up and go. Their brunch menu is good, typical brunch food. Their lunch and dinner menus are also good.

The service is always good. Servers are very attentive.

Oh, and my favorite thing ever was their cappuccino. They give it to you with a little biscotti!!!

  8. I recommend for the Gelato.

Foodwise, it's decent but if you want a good sandwich, I'd go to Royal Crown.  Decent salads and pasta dishes.

I love their gelato! Pastries (cakes) are good.
