  1. It's a self-service business model where the portions are completely up to you. There are about a dozen flavors of frozen yogurt including my favorite: pistachio. There are dozens of toppings including about fruits, cereals, syrups, and the usuals.

There is a patio in the back where you can hang out which is connected to the bar next door. It's a nice spot to chill out.

Frozen Planet is very similar to Swirlz World in Merrick.

  2. I've been here like 2 or 3 times and enjoyed the Froyo everytime.

Great frozen yogurt shop , self serves and every flavor station has 2 flavors per machine which have the option to swirl the 2 flavors . I believe the flavors are paired up side to side because they go good together.

The staff is always friendly and the place is maintained very clean , there's also a ton of topping options .

Honestly in my opinion,  they put Red Mango to shame !! The flavors are on point from the cookies and cream to the birthday cake to the fruity stuff . You can also sample every flavor , They have like 10 flavors or something like that.

Great job ladies and gentlemen,  keep up the great work !!!

  3. Great addition to the neighborhood, we are sorely lacking for decent ice cream/fro yo options near parks (Hickman Park is just two blocks away). Their toppings selection is impressive, though I don't go for toppings too much of frozen yogurt. The flavor selection is pretty good, but the Nutella is kind of weak. I think I preferred the praline flavor for creamy, ice-cream like options, and mango tango was intense. My boo said that pomegranate raspberry was a bit on the tart side, but would work well if paired with something like vanilla. He preferred the strawberry and mango tango flavors.
It's clean and spacious with cute seats, though it was a little on the quiet side which was why we opted for the park.
I was wary of the prices, but at $0.52 an ounce, it's actually pretty standard with other self service frozen yogurt places I've been to. Yes, the cups are big, but this isn't a 7-11, the frozen yogurt isn't a slurpee, and if you're filling that big cup ALL the way, you should be more worried about what you're gaining than by the $7 you're losing.

  4. Seriously – this spot is like awesome and it's in my neighborhood!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are having an ice cream craving – Look no more welcome to Frozen planet – with different flavors of Ice Cream and Frozen yogurt – Then you get to put all sorts of toppings on top as you wish – serve your self system……… but be careful because after that it will get weighed………… LOL!

Now the ambiance and atmosphere is real cool – you can sit on the couch and have your ice cream – you can sit on the stools or a simple table with chairs – or you can even go to the back yard – what the heck!!!!!!!!

My Nieces and cousin had a blast – they enjoyed putting their own choice of ice cream and flavorings themselves – which is cool!

I just wish they have had more choices in no sugar added flavors – I mean a sister gotta watch her curves………………….

  5. So yummy. I usually don't like froyo but the Nutella tastes like ice cream and there are so many toppings to choose from! Love it

  6. On my hundreds of trips to and from my home I've past Frozen Planet so many times.
Ive always wanted to venture inside and yesterday was the day. My dad is a huge frozen yogurt fan and I thought why not??

Frozen Planet first and foremost is so clean, I mean just on cleanliness it is spotless!
Now to the frozen yogurt, they have a huge selection! While I was there flavors ranged from nutella, tarte to my favorite cake batter! They had many more flavors but those were the true stars(for me)! Its a one size cup that you fill up with the amount of yogurt your heart desires and then weigh it on the scale. For the most part the yogurt tastes like icecream, insane!

They have so many toppings to choose from everything from cookie dough to cereal down to the good old school hot fudge where can you go wrong?

They play music that will keep you dancing in your seat and the ambience is chill. They have multiple tables and a super comfy white couch. Staff is very helpful and if you aren't sure which flavor you want…. they will help you sample as many as you want.

I should of came here way long ago because its simply awesome! Cash or credit accepted. Street parking so feed those meters, besides that still really good and worth it if your a fan of frozen yogurt.
