I've had their dessert in their Chinatown location and was happy to hear that they've opened one here.
Came here on a Sunday afternoon and there was full house but not much of a wait. However, the wait for the food was super long. Waited over half an hour for the buy one get one bowl items and over AN HOUR for the mango drinks (apparently, they forgot or messed up our drink order) . Makes you wonder if they only have 2 people working in the kitchen.
Overall, the mango desserts were great but the wait is not so great.
I can see why people are upset. This place just opened and they have a grand opening week promotion. So of course, everyone is going to flocked over here to see and try it out. The staff is overwhelmed and I'm guessing they weren't prepared for the huge outcome.
The promotion was only good for a few selected items and you can't mix and match.
We ended up just getting the drinks (mango slush-o) from the promo and ordered the mix fresh fruit with sago and grass jelly in mango juice. I prefer drinks over their bowls.
The interior is nice and to be honest this is one of the better tasting things in the area.

Adorable decor.
Mango Mille Crepe- Beautiful presentation. However, it had a really light taste. It would have been plain without the fresh mango topping. ($6.50)
Durian Mille Crepe- For those who aren't fond of durian, it tasted exactly like the fruit. I love durian, but I didn't really enjoy this cake. It was too doughy. ($6.50)
A.01- Mango juice sago, pomelo, and mango ice cream. Refreshing, but a bit tangy. ($6.50)
I had pretty high expectations of this place since I've been to their other stores in Chinatown and flushing. I expected quality desserts that was rich in mango favor. However this spot makes mango desserts that I don't taste that rich in mango. I got my personal favorite: the mango pomelo with mango ice cream. The most mango juice that it comes in tastes just slightly in mango even when it was rich in that yellow orange. The mango ice cream was the one that helped heighten the mango favor of the dish. Even the mangos weren't that fresh! I was very disappointed.
The service this is good tho. I also love the design of the store other than the table that is awkwardly in the middle. I hope this store can improve since it just opened. I will definitely give it another chance.
I didn't even know about the Brooklyn location until my friend told me. I came here for their BOGO promotion. They have a short list of 5 items that you can pick. I had the mango pomelo. It was very watered down and not that flavorful. I prefer the Chinatown location. The place looks very modern and the seats are comfortable. We didn't have to wait that long on a late Thursday night.
I'm a fan of Mango Mango now!
*Side story: I went to Mango Mango in Chinatown when it first opened. The service and food was terrible and I never wanted to try it again.
I walked in on the last day of their BOGO promo with low expectations. I was just thinking of trying out this specific location since it was convenient for me. I took my cousins here after lunch and we had an amazing time.
Yes, there was definitely a wait. New business, new hype, I didn't expect a fast and perfect experience. I walked in and noticed there were about 8 tables with banquet seating, fancy. Everything was backed up and you could see it wasn't any of the staff's fault, only management because they should've used experienced people to manage the flow of business, especially inside the kitchen. I've noticed the wait was only caused by the flow of the food coming out of the little window from the kitchen. Most of the staff was just standing around waiting for the food to come out.
I didn't know I had to leave my name down so this girl kindly came up to me to take my name down. She seemed confused as if she never heard of the name Carrie before so I just gave her an easier name to write down, I'll be Carmen for this dining experience. Hey, she tried. I just want my mango.
I didn't keep track of how long I waited since my phone died. It felt like 10 minutes, didn't feel long. I asked one of the girls if they could charge my phone for me behind the counter and she gladly did it for me. Life saver!
After we sat down, I was ready to order right away. The girl explained to me that they had this promo where I had to scan and share about their business on Moments on my WeChat. Since my phone had died, I had to wait for it to charge before I can share and receive the promo.
I eventually waited until my phone was charged, shared the promo, received my food and really enjoyed my experience there.
I've been back a couple of times after the first, and each time was a great experience. I try not to crave for Mango Mango but I just can't help it! Thanks for opening a location convenient to me!
