  1. Interestingly I already reviewed this on May 24 but for some reason my review isn't listed here although you can find it when you go in under my name.In  all events this is a decent store with good prices.Largely ,it's a fresh produce store. The Hillsborough store has a slightly more interesting selection. They did have fresh lemon grass! You can also get pasta and certain canned items. There is also a deli.

  2. DO YOU LOVE FRUIT? Because I do. A lot. I like to buy a lot of it and I like to eat a lot of it. I have been impressed with the quality of the produce here, and the prices are amazing. The quality is decent, and there is a lot of variety.
There are a lot of nice veggies also, and a deli counter in the back of the store.
So glad that they opened this place. Really awesome. The parking situation is a mess, though. I hope that improves.

  3. I've been coming here since shortly after it opened, and it's one of the spots my wallet is really going to miss now that I've moved. As someone whose diet is mostly fresh fruits and vegetables, I'm always on the hunt for places to get the best stuff for the best price. Driving all the way to the Asian market in North Plainfield isn't always an option, and I really dislike paying the exorbitant prices at regular grocery stores, so this place has been a true lifesaver. It's hard to beat the prices here for pretty much anything.

The selection changes pretty frequently, and you might not see the same thing today that you saw in here yesterday. The products are usually pretty good, though some items only have a short shelf life by the time you get it home. They have a nice selection of products, including some Asian vegetables – big plus. I usually hit up the dairy and bread areas since their stuff is cheaper and fresher than the other stores. There's also a deli area in the back that sells cold cuts, salads, and such like that. I've gone back several times since I moved because I haven't been able to find anywhere else that has the selection and pricing this place has. Sure, it's a bit of a haul now, but it's worth it if I'm going to be in the area anyway.

  4. NP farmers market was one of the best news I heard after hearing that New York Mart was no longer opening in Berkeley Heights.  Located less than 5 mins from us.  I think they can slowly convert me to a vegetarian.

The shopping complex and parking lot is in a bit of a mess right now but I think this is temporary.

Prices are unbeatable.  Even better than asian markets.  I hope this is not just a trick to get customers in.  They also have a great variety of any vegetables or fruits in season.  So far all of the items are fresh, testament to the high turnover.

A&P and Kings will definitely take a hit from them.  Hope they will adjust their prices to be more competitive.  Too bad they don't have meats here too.

The deli at the back closes an hour earlier than the store.  I think they are owned by different people.  You have to pay separately.  Great prices too.
