  1. Talk about a breakfast

I always thought it was odd how people ate from this cart all day long during lunch and dinner hours but I get it! I ordered the waffle sandwich, basically 2 waffles with ice cream stuffed in the middle and I was so full. Its so rich and heavy. I felt like I was good for both breakfast and lunch. I highly recommend stopping by this cart at any time of the day and grabbing some of these delicious waffles. They can be kind of slow here so make sure you have enough time to wait for your order if your rushing to work!

  2. This was an absolute gem I happened to pass by when I was in the city and I caught a waft of the vanilla scent as I passed by the truck. After platters, this was just a perfect way to have a little something to round off your meal. Essentially it's a truck that has a variety of waffle combinations perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. The truck uses a dough as opposed to a batter used for the traditional waffle and it comes out crispy in the outside and soft on the inside. Then you choose your topping. They have a s'mores waffles and Nutella waffle- absolutely amazing. I would make a trip just into the city to try the waffles here again. Amazing!

  3. Never disappointed. My out-of-state friends always come here if they're in town. One waffle can be filling or high in calorie (depending what you order) so it's not a bad idea to share. Of course, there's no shame in having one to yourself. I think I tend to regret not doing that whenever I share with a friend.

Service has always been good for me. I personally feel bad sometimes that I can't understand the employees' Belgium accents.

    Overall, a must-try in NYC.

  4. Finished dinner nearby and saw Wafels & Dinges on the corner.  I had the location by Rokerfeller Center bookmarked and decided to go for a dessert to share with him.  I wanted the Belgian one but they said it was discontinued; so not sure why they didn't cover it on their menu.

We ordered a liege ($6) with speculaoos topping.  The first topping is free.  We were very disappointed that they gave us a premade one.  These should always be made to order.  Especially for a food truck.  The liege was a little on the hard side.  A good one is usually (besides hot) crisp edged but soft middle.  They were generous with the speculaoos topping but it was way too sweet.

We'll never cheat on the Belgian Waffle guy back home.

  5. We strolled through Bryant Park and came across this cute little stand.

I ordered a liege with Speculoos dinge and my boyfriend got the liege with nutella topping. I was disappointed with what I got. I thought mine was going to be a waffle with the speculoos cookie butter spread, but it was just …. Cookie crumbs on a waffle. You definitely cant go wrong with the nutella waffle. I also got an iced coffee— very strong, not watered down. Thumbs up for me!

A bit overpriced for what it is, but that's New York for ya!

There's a few high tables around, but you can take it with you and sit somewhere in the park.

I probably wouldn't mind trying another topping, maybe with ice cream hee hee 🙂

  6. How does this not have a unanimous five stars and why is this not a restaurant, because I'd go to it every day.

  7. I like the waffle here. I got mine w ginger ice cream and strawberries. Overall, it was small and pricey but good. Would get it again

  8. I LOVE wafles and dinges, but this time I just wanted hot chocolate. Came here after work and got the Belgium hot chocolate. It's not thick, rich, and creamy like hot chocolate in Europe, but it's also not made from a packet of Swiss miss. You can taste the dark chocolate it's made from, which is really good.

The people in the stand are also great! The cashier was super friendly and funny while my friend was deciding what he wanted.

Definitely would come to this location again.

Also nice that there's public seating all around herald square.
