Yogurt Berry

“Joining the family of Pinkberry, Red Mango, and 16 Handles, Yogurt Berry is yet another place to get frozen yogurt and to add your own assortment of toppings.”

“Hopefully their flavors will start to switch up now that it's going to get warmer, but I usually just stick to the plain and mango flavors.”

“While some chains offer more toppings and flavors, this location in Sunnyside is convenient if you're in the mood for some frozen yogurt.”

  1. The staff is really awesome! They are always so helpful and I can't ever get passed the pomegranate flaver.. yummmm!!

  2. The service and staff are amazing!  Super friendly, patient, and fast.  However, the yogurt is just okay.  I feel like it's more sweet and less creamy than the big name chains.  Tastes pretty artificial and processed to me…or just like ice and flavoring?

I've frequented this establishment because it's the only decent yogurt place in my neighborhood and it's always a pleasant experience in terms of dealing with people.  And the yogurt is decent enough for a once in awhile excursion.

  3. Have you had a pomegranate brownie? Nor have I but I got a cup of Pomegranate froyo and one of my toppings was bits of brownies. I am a dark chocolate and brownie lover. With the sweetness and hint of tartness of the Pomegranate flavored froyo mixed in covering the brownies made this combo: All So Good.

I sampled three flavors before I chose to get a cup of the Pomegranate flavored froyo. I thought it was the most flavorful one of the three, also the sweetest of the three. Chocolate taste exactly like a regular oh cold chocolate spread. The Mango had the best yogurt tartness but had little mango flavor. In addition to the sweetness in the Pomegranate, it had a hint of tartness.

I topped my froyo with some fruit like kiwi, strawberry and blackberries. I also added some pink looking boba balls (the ones where when popped a liquid bursts out), how fun to eat. The brownies and boba balls had a little bit of an aftertaste.

There is only 10 basic flavors to choose from. I gave Yogurberry only three stars because they could improve on the quality in their yogurt, or even improve on variety and pazazz. It's good but not meeting the more well known, bigger froyo companies. The decor is small and colorful.

Yeah! I got a stamp, 5 more to go before I get a free one: "Up to 10oz free with this offer. Not valid with any other offers. Must purchase over 8oz to get one stamp." Yah heard it from me :]

  4. Great froyo, similiar to 16 handles, with good selection of toppings, and good seating for lounging about
