I have to admit that I never expected this little gem outside of regular Summit downtown circle. We have an event planned here last night. Due to the miscalculation, I went here one day ahead of time. The grand summit hotel is in a small street without any traffic noises. The quiet lobby and the afternoon sunlight make is a great place for a coffee nap. I love it as it is not like other hotels' noisy lobby bar. The small corner bar space gave me a misimpression about what will come tomorrow. The next day, about 50 people showed up and Arts/Crafts easily handled it. Beside the couches and high chair, there is also an ball room binding behind the bar. I never would imaging that so many beer, wine and cocktails can be pulled out of that little bar, where three guys work behind it. We were served with various of tapas, including sweet pea salad and pork belly/kimchi. My most favorite is the crispy fried scallop sliders. The big scallop is perfectly cooked with crispy bread crust and is very tender inside. The summer ale is OK and I like the red better. After all, I like its location and privacy.
