  1. I'm assuming this is the 34th street Starbucks across from Penn Station. Anyway, today I wanted a frappuccino and snack from Starbucks. Walked in, and there was a LONG line. Once I got to the beginning, I noticed there were no more frappe cookies, so I went for the salted caramel cake pop(which is the best cake pop btw) and the new Salted Caramel Iced Mocha. The cake pop was good as always, but the Salted Caramel Iced Mocha….
    What. The. Heck.

It tasted horrible. I've tried mochas before, and I've never been too fond of them, but this is the worse mocha I've tried. The coffee was terrible. The only delicious thing was the whipped cream with the caramel and salt. I ended up not finishing the horrible drink. Terrible drink. Do not get the mocha, just stick with the basics.

Anyway, the Starbucks is pretty good otherwise.

  2. Have been here many times yet this time frustrated me the most. Ordered the regular venilla machiato as well as the regular croissant, it took more than 15 min to make. If I were not repeatedly asking where my coffee was I must have missed my Amtrak. Felt so bad about this place as they seemed not care about your feeling at all. So disappointed about this place and will never come back again.

  3. Open late! So it is a good place to get a cup of coffee after a night of drinking in the city.

There are 2 locations inside Penn Station. I have always received great service and great coffee.

They have plenty of seating. I charge my phone while I wait for my train.

  4. There are 2 Starbucks in this location on the same level. If you're waiting for the LIRR it's a great place to sit and sip on a beverage.

If you're asking the NJ Transit or Amtrak they have their own waiting areas.

One of the fastest Starbucks in NYC

    Note: No Bathroom

  5. Cramped…but they do their best with the space they've been given.

Not the fastest 'bucks…actually, one of the slower.  Have yet to ever arrive at any time of day when there is any seating available.  But at least a really good meeting spot when you're meeting folks taking a train in from the burbs!

  6. Oh this Starbucks can kiss my olive colored ass!

Do you know much I buy from Starbucks on a monthly basis? The CEO should be calling me on my birthday (who also grew up in the same town as me thankyouverymuch)

I'm waiting for my train. It's late. I'm tired and I have two choices: wait in the LIRR waiting room with homeless people or sit in Starbucks.

The counterperson comes over to me, you can't sit here unless you buy something. What???
Can you image that happening in Long Island? Sorry, you can't bring in your own food, only our food. I'd be locked up.

Anyhoo, I tell the girl I'm tired and my train will be here in a few minutes. Sorry Mr. Billy S, out!!

I was tempted to order 10 frappachinos and bolt but instead? I chill.

I order a small iced coffee. I wait for my train and I'm on my way. This place is a mad house during the morning rush, there's three other Starbucks street level if you need a cuppa coffee.

  7. Quickly stopped here to grab a cup before heading to the subway. During your morning commute or peak hours, expect the line to be long and busy. However on days I was there, the staff worked diligently and got everyone's order done. There are some small tables available on the side, but not many. There are also no restrooms granted that you can find other restrooms in Penn Station.

  8. Always very fast and friendly.   I have never missed a train because of them.  They lose a star because they're starbucks.
